The Folly of King Einobar

Description
Four traveling companions explore some old ruins and must unravel the secrets of the downfall of an ancient civilization. Their journey will eventually take them beyond the walls of the keep to a land lost by time.

The Folly of King Einobar is a linear campaign with starting level 1. A balanced party (fighter, cleric, rogue, mage) is recommended–but don’t let that stop you from trying out a party of all dwarf rogues, or something equally crazy! The adventure should take you to about level 8 at the end.

Crafting is not included in this campaign, and no mods are utilized. Lost Valley DLC required.

After playing these user made Mods for a long time, this is indeed the WORST one I've ever played!! Just going to leave it at that.

Need more bolts and arrows, and a pearl for bards to use for identify. at the start. Difficult is challenging, but I like that.

Poorly balanced early encounters. If you don't limit the number of enemies a lvl. 1-3 party faces bad rolls will kill the party far more often or not. Not recommended for anyone looking for a fair and enjoyable time regardless of desired challenge.

Well made, although I agree with pbalfe that more merchants should be available throughout or at least allow players to return to the established merchant camp.

@fred_xr2d2: Very welcome. For such a large and detailed campaign these are relatively small items (other than the locked door one). Really impressive work and deserves to be very popular in the workshop. Can't wait to see your next work

Really enjoyed this campaign. Thanks so much for your efforts. As a designer myself of a number of campaigns my comments are:

You could do with adding a couple of more merchants. Maybe some custom ones as well. I ended up with too much loot to even carry around.

Map fast travel - check some of your maps. Not all of them have fast travel locations on them.

Quest items behind locked doors - this is mentioned below. One area in particular is behind a locked door. If you do not have thieves tools or fail your lock pick - then the game is hard locked.

Great design of maps - LOVE your design of maps and the placement of assets. Really well done.

All in all I'd rate this as one of the best campaigns in the workshop and really appreciate the effort you put in to this. Very few typos and bugs that I could see.

I have checked the maps in the DM - you have a locked door that leads to the upper section of the castle. If you do not have thieves tools or have settings that do not allow multiple lock pick attempts then the game is hard locked. I would suggest either having a key drop for that door on the unending keep level - or remove the locked door.

I have explored everywhere I can in the castle at this stage. Bar a couple of locked doors. I do not have thieves tools so I am unable to open them.....
Clicked on everything I could see that I was able to interact with and opened all available chests etc
