After playing these user made Mods for a long time, this is indeed the WORST one I've ever played!! Just going to leave it at that.

Need more bolts and arrows, and a pearl for bards to use for identify. at the start. Difficult is challenging, but I like that.

Poorly balanced early encounters. If you don't limit the number of enemies a lvl. 1-3 party faces bad rolls will kill the party far more often or not. Not recommended for anyone looking for a fair and enjoyable time regardless of desired challenge.

Well made, although I agree with pbalfe that more merchants should be available throughout or at least allow players to return to the established merchant camp.

Really enjoyed this campaign. Thanks so much for your efforts. As a designer myself of a number of campaigns my comments are:

You could do with adding a couple of more merchants. Maybe some custom ones as well. I ended up with too much loot to even carry around.

Map fast travel - check some of your maps. Not all of them have fast travel locations on them.

Quest items behind locked doors - this is mentioned below. One area in particular is behind a locked door. If you do not have thieves tools or fail your lock pick - then the game is hard locked.

Great design of maps - LOVE your design of maps and the placement of assets. Really well done.

All in all I'd rate this as one of the best campaigns in the workshop and really appreciate the effort you put in to this. Very few typos and bugs that I could see.

I have checked the maps in the DM - you have a locked door that leads to the upper section of the castle. If you do not have thieves tools or have settings that do not allow multiple lock pick attempts then the game is hard locked. I would suggest either having a key drop for that door on the unending keep level - or remove the locked door.

I have explored everywhere I can in the castle at this stage. Bar a couple of locked doors. I do not have thieves tools so I am unable to open them.....
Clicked on everything I could see that I was able to interact with and opened all available chests etc

@pbalfe is it possible you are stuck by the door that can only be opened with king Einobar's crown? If so, you'll need to keep exploring to find it. If that's not it, please give some more details so we can fix any issues.

Loving this so far. Wonderful map design. I am a bit stuck though. I beat the skeleton marksmen in and have a locked door in front of me with no way to get through. I do not have thieves tools so hoping the key is not stuck behind one of the other locked doors.

@ericwisdom my wife and I were working on another short campaign that got put on pause as she went back to school. We anticipate playing the new dlc and that might rekindle the work on it. Thanks for playing!

Nearing the end of this long adventure, or short campaign, and I have enjoyed it very much! Perhaps, you could create a sequel (8-16) when the new content from TA comes out?

@vertani sorry for the late response. I think you may be talking about the door that opens only with the crown of King Einobar in your possession. We tried to make it obvious with the descriptive text that you would need the crown to progress. I would suggest you continue searching the castle to find it.

I'm stuck trying to access the ritual chamber. I killed the skeletons (after a few tries), but I can't open the door. There's no lockpicking check, can't target a Knock, don't see any buttons or anything nearby, and we can't see past it to teleport. The door just says "Door cannot be opened." I've collected all the loot on this floor and I think interacted with everything that's interactable.

@bangbear We've re-balanced that fight in particular and several in that area. Also, there are several places in earlier areas with magical weapons that are the random drops, so we don't know if they will be useful to all parties.

Thanks for the feedback! We do recommend a balanced party and the point is to be challenging. We'll take a look at that fight in particular to see if we can balance it better.

Absolutely loving it up until the strong drake fight. My particular party cannot get past it, I've tried every different strategy I could come up with, there are just too many and they are too strong. Every encounter up to this one I was able to find a way to prep better but here it's just all open and there is nothing else I can do. The earlier boss in the room with the circular glyph was only able to be wounded by one of my characters and I won by being lucky in a verrrry long drag out fight. Overall I like that is makes me think and plan, I'm not sure if my party was just countered or if the fight was too much(seems like a bit much) but I guess canonically that's where their story ends.

Hi @rustythorn, we found a minor bug (one of the exits in the temple of the sun accidentally went to the wrong entrance) and we fixed it. Is it possible you did not get an end of campaign screen when you exited to go to the upper floor? Also, we are confused by "escape to win" as we don't believe we've given that instruction to players in the quests or dialogues. Can you clarify? Thanks!

just finished, thanks for making it, i really need to get off my butt and finish my game. i kinda accidentally cheated at the end. the final boss fight said "escape to win" and as i always do i sent my one stealthy character ahead to scout and left everyone else by the entrance. i thought 'it couldn't be that easy' and tried the exit, so win i guess.

ok the flying things just before lv6 were challenge, i had to drop down to regular difficultly level to beat them, maybe i'm missing a more effective strategy? or could have been their luck with crits, my screen was not big enough for all the dice that was rolled. of course just a normal hit would drop a wizard and two drops a fighter. i'm playing no mods and RAW; point-buy, ave HP

lots of fun but all the choke points are makes the game like shooting fishing in a barrel. especially with large/huge creatures and 5' wide paths at that point i just turn the enemies HP down to get their suffering over faster.

that orc fight was tough, but i guess it was because i was lv 4 and not 5. i would suggest adding an exp bump once you get the soul gem since you can't go back and fight those battles not required to advance the game but are required to reach lv 5

There should be ranged ammo in at least one room in the second major area. We tried to include ranged ammo at several points throughout, but we also didn't playtest with multiple ranged characters (that weren't magic users).

great game thus far and actually challenging, 10 spiders at lv 1? you devious bastard. the pack of wolves might have been a challenge if it was not for the tree house. unfortunately i hope there is a merchant soon, i only started the game with 20 bolts and those are long gone so now i have little in the way of ranged attacks
