Description
This mod improves handling and some characteristics of vanilla cars. They didn't become Formula 1 cars, but they became a little more usable.



ADA 4X4
max.speed 140 km/h, 500 slots, wheel size 5x5

OLGA
max.speed 155 km/h, brakes+, 700 slots, wheel size 5x5

GUNTER
max.speed 180 km/h, brakes+, 600 slots, wheel size 4x4

SARKA
max.speed 135 km/h, 600 slots, wheel size 4x4

M3S Truck
max.speed 99 km/h, brakes+, 1000 slots, wheel size 7x7

HUMVEE
max.speed 135 km/h, 3-speed high-performance automatic transmission, 600 slots, wheel size 7x7

✅ The mod does not affect performance. Key included.

Explain in more detail what is meant by "shaking all over the place when a player is trying to drive, also sit in the driver seat"? What is the shaking like, and when does it occur? And how can you control a vehicle in DayZ without being in the driver’s seat? Which map is being used, and what other mods related to transport are in use? I will be able to look into the issue within the next two days.

just noticed ADA 4X4 literally shaking all over the place when a player trying to drive, also sit in driver seat.. what causes this?? also thank you for your great mods

Are you sure the issue is specifically with this mod? The thing is, no changes were made to the functionality of vehicle components, and the mod doesn’t even contain that code. Perhaps you’re using another mod of mine, VanillaCarsUpNoDmg, but there haven’t been any complaints about it.

Btw, when you´ve damaged your engine, the engine icon starts flashing. When your engine becomes even badly damaged, the flashing icon is still white

I must say I really love this mod, really nice work. I don´t wanna sound like "ok here comes a but"...but, would it be possible to add a slot in the vehicles for a weapon and a slot for the gasoline canister ?

The upcoming update for this mod will change the suspension characteristics of all vehicles except the M3S truck.

The compatibility update for version 1.28 is ready for release. The HUMVEE will once again have an automatic transmission (but now in a much more “sporty” version), the ADA will get faster gear shifting.
