Hello Fellow Generals,

So I have heard your concerns about your PC hardware performance for Return to Glory: Apocalypse.
I created this SUBMOD which lowers Unit count from 300% to 200% of Vanilla sizes. This submod was only done to make sure everyone can experience huge Battles, I will also be updating my other mods to be X2 versions.

It still does all the same things that RTG: Apocalypse does, just makes unit size to double Vanilla unit size.

-Artillery is still 200%
-Lords/Heroes are still 200% Health
-Ammunition is still 400% of vanilla counts
-Monsters are still 200% Health

FAQ:

BUT I am already playing my Current Campaign!! (you say):

Apply this mod on top of Return to Glory: Apocalypse if you already have it installed and it will reduce unit counts in campaigns you already have underway without you having to start over, as it is save safe, it only changes vanilla unit counts, health numbers and ammunition, it does not add anything else.

What about a New Campaign? (you ask)

Then you only need to install and activate this Mod, YOU DO NOT NEED both the original RTG: Apocalypse Mod and this one if starting a new campaign. This does all the same things as the original, just less units.

There's plenty of mods around that basically know about popular unit mods, like here for Resizing units: Total Unit Resize II - Mod Support Addon

Hey! I love it, for me (not just for performance reasons) the best solution.
Adding this mid campaign went absolutely fine. Slick!

Now this may be a stupid question as I'm new to the whole doubling units idea, but is there a way to similarly double unit sizes JUST of NON-VANILLA units added by other mods, such as Guns of the Empire, Sons of Asuryan (High Elves), Sons of Grimnir (Dawi) or Ten Kingdoms (Wood Elves), to name a few highlights?

How about factions added via Mixu's mixer, like OVN's Albion or Cataph's Southern Realms?

Is there submod for Return To Glory: Apocalypse that will "parse" if popular mods are activated so modded units can similarly be tripled/doubled?
