ZyCorp Sunburst - Artillery Cruiser

ZyCorp is a relatively newer Ship Manufacturing Corporation and considered to be one of the fastest-growing corps in the past 20 years. Focusing on specialized hull types, ZyCorp designs ships that fill many different types of roles in a wide variety of combat applications. While ZyCorp focuses mostly on combat hulls, they have engineered a small number of logistical configurations which also find some use in the civilian markets.

The ZyCorp Sunburst is an artillery cruiser designed to overwhelm targets with a hailstorm of superheavy ordnance. At the heart of the Sunburst lays a miniature industrial hub, which can supply a nearly constant stream of ammunition to the quadruple deck guns mounted across its bow. The Sunburst makes an excellent command ship for smaller mercenary fleets, but has also seen some use as a mobile defence platform for deep space stations. Some industrial companies have even modified the Sunburst to serve as a manufacturing ship, replacing the deck guns with an array of forward-facing heavy laser blasters.
