Maimed World

Description
The world of Kenshi is a brutal, merciless and mostly lawless world, where savage beasts roam the land, and hoards of cannibals stalk for the flesh of the weak.
Lack of doctors and medical attention have lead to the use of old and new medical devices to replace grave injuries such as crippled or missing limbs.

Maimed World is a mod that gives the world of Kenshi the possibility of having any spawn NCP, prosthetics or missing limbs altogether. As per Kenshi Lore, The Holy Nation and its inhabitants will not be affected by these changes as they vehemently fight the world against the blight of the dark and unholy machines of old.

Maimed World was made with the intention to be used in conjunction with Reactive World but is not dependant of it. You can use this mod freely. (there shouldn't be any compatibility issues)

A brief description of how the mod works.
Each NPCs and Squad have been reviewed and/or modified to incorporate the chances to have NPCs spawn with the chance to have from 0 to 4 prosthetics, and/or missing either the left or right arm. (there are not any arm less NPCs)

To balance the fact that the world of Kenshi is now alive as intended, with maimed and crippled inhabitants, the prices of all Prosthetics have been GREATLY reduced.

Another of my mods that you should use together.

Patch that reverts the prices of limbs back to Vanilla Kenshi. (load Maim World first followed by Maimed World Patch)

FAQ
Q: Which types of limbs spawn on NPCs?
A: it is intended to be a logical representation of a living world, the most poor peasants may only afford hive limbs or the most cheap skeleton ones. The same idea applies for other NPCs. Tech hunter may spawn more or better quality limbs as they are searching ruins for old tech for example.

Q: Maimed World Start character looks like it is missing all the limbs when you switch races.
A: it does, but it works, no idea why that happens.

I think you may be correct, i remember doing something specifically for them, but i will need to double check. Thank you for bringing it up, i will try to look for that over the weekend.

Noticed that Plastic Surgeons triggered the Holy Nation panic attack for skeletons today, so I removed them from my FCS. Not sure if they were missed on previous NPC clean-ups (I think Shinobi Thieves got an update before? Can't recall).

My thoughts exactly. Now it's perfect.

My pleasure, that is exactly why I did it, it seem strange that the world and lore is based on robotic limbs yet none has it?? or even missing limbs. Vanity aside I believe that any little (me being picky) lore things aside, the mod makes the world much richer or shows the cruel state. You will find peasants and army injured or with prosthetics now.

Thank you for promptly addressing this. I believe that's the best solution, even if we have to import the game and some things may just disappear. By the way, thank you for this mod, it greatly improves my enjoyment of the game, and it just makes sense, lore-wise. It's a must.

At first I was unsure but you are correct I never uploaded the correct model for the left arm. So the Thief Arm Left, has been removed from the mod and the Patch as I have no idea where that file is now. There should be no mo problems now, except that the existing ones on the world may disappear. I suggest importing the game to refresh the npc tables are proper limbs again.

Does this mod add left thief arm? This item doesn't exist in vanilla (only the rigth arm). Problem is, with left arm equipped, it becomes invisible, but it appears over the right arm (both arms show up, clipping into each other). I would like to know if this mod is the cause.
