Sartre´s 4-2-3-1 Possesion

"In football everything is complicated by the presence of the opposite team.'"

Those are the wise words from Sartre.
In this tactics will we will to retain possesion, but also limit the impact the opponent can make.
This is done by high pressure after ball loss, passing the ball around and trying to push the opponent outside to make crosses.

The tactic have been tested with FC Midtjylland, Malmö FF and Sunderland with great results.

Important notes

You need players that fit the roles and you need to have players that can pass the pass well and with good technique (this includes the CB and SK)

The DLP needs to be very good in this setup and you also need great Inside Forwards that can not just run, but also challange defenders. In most cases you can slack on a few positions if you need (playing with teams of lesser quality)
Mentality is set to positive, because we want to try and dominate, if that is not possible (you should shift anyway during matches) then put it down to balanced or cautious. If you are the stronger team, going attack can be great as well.

It works great in combination with the Sartre´s defence tactics, so you can compliment for hard matches.
