Chemical Barrels

Description
Allows you to store chemfuel and toxic waste in barrels. These barrels will not decay on their own, however they may explode if damaged, spreading pollution or fire. You can deconstruct these barrels to retrieve the contents stored inside. Each barrel contains a stack of the chemical stored inside.

These barrels are not completely fireproof, so be careful with your placement of them. Keeping all your pollution stored away stable in a cave somewhere is all fun and games until an infestation destroys them all.

Known Issues:
Minified objects do not explode when destroyed, meaning you can remove pollution from your map by uninstalling barrels and destroying them. This seems to be the default behavior for minified items but I am looking for a work around.

@philtheunikorn Hmm I haven't had performance issues blowing up one/multiple toxic barrels but I can take a look at lowering the amount of gas generated if it is causing issues. I'm curious, do you use any other mods that might affect pollution?

i installed this to see if i could build a "Geneva fun room" but your toxic waste barrel if it gets shot creates a pollution cloud so thick i thought i opened a rift to another dimension and it drops my frame rate to the point i have to struggle to pause so i can reload to before i blew it up and i only blew 1 up and the whole game started running at turtle speed chemfuel barrels however i can blow 100 up all at once with zero issues other than the sound it makes when that many blow up is this a normal thing with toxic waste or is the pollution explosion that toxic ill admit ive barley messed with toxic waste

give that a wall costs 5 stuff and these barrels don't actually solve the problem of the waste, i've reduced the stuff cost of them down to 5 in my runs. if you end up updating for 1.5, you might consider stuffing the barrels as well for better protection or just swag (gold toxic waste barrels)

i believe there is a imbalance issue. explode create a 29 tile pollution when pumped this will only yield 4 waste bag resulting in 1 net waste bag lost. you are basically paying 40 steel to get ride off 1 waste bag.

@Erop "I considered making them non-minifiable but I like having the option to build them near your stockpiles and then moving them to where they need to be. I figure if people want to use it to cheat, they could have done that in dev mode anyway, so until I discover a workaround I don't mind that bug so much." - Vent

@Vent You can easily avoid your only issue, by making barrels impossible to uninstall.
