Painted Prisms

Description
Adds ion beam prisms in 7 different colors. Ion beams pointed through these prisms will be colored the same color as the prism. All colors are shown in the logo. Purely visual effect.

In carrer mode, painted prisms are unlocked when the "Ion Prism" blueprint is purchased.

(hopefully) All stat values are taken from the vanilla ion beam and ion beam prism, so any mod modifying those will also modify these prisms, with the exception of graphics and shaders.

Is there any way to make this work with the ion beams from advanced tech tree?

I've always wished there was a mod that made the beams invisible (like a real laser would look in vacuum). The prism would just light up when fired with that and the damage on target being the only visible effects.

This has a shader problem(It's doing this with all the colors):

would it be possible to change the core brightness of the orange beam? These prism lasers look super cool, but the orange one has this weird "dim" to it I can't describe. Lmk if you want a screenshot!

How hard would it be to change the "default" non-prism ion-beam colour to a dull/muted grey/neutral colour/white .. so it only gets colour after hitting the prism ?
