Description
UK Modern Signal Pack.

Collection of modern signals, permissible speed indicators and temporary speed restriction signage.

Pack includes:
- Collis 2, 3 & 4 aspect coloured light signals (cls; available 2007)
- VMS 3 & 4 aspect signals (available 2012)
- VMS/Dorman banner repeater waypoints (available 2012/2006)
- VMS/Dorman ground signals (available 2012/2006)
- Dorman platform alpha numeric OFF indicator (available 2006)
- Dorman Integrated Lightweight Signals (iLS) 3 & 4 aspect (available 2015)
- Dorman CLS 3 & 4 aspect (available 2006)

Track assets:
- Signal gantry for use with OHLE (available 2006)
- Signal gantry not for OHLE (available 2006)
- Pre-made signal gantries (2- and 4- track along with 2-track cantilever; available 2006)
- Signal phone (stand alone and pole based; available 1990)
- OHLE protective shields for placement on suitable signal posts
- Permissible speed indicators (available 1985)
- Advanced warning indicators (available 1986)
- Temporary speed restriction (available 1996)
- Emergency speed restriction (available 1996)

Other features
Some signals are offset from their placement position with the intention of their placement on the end of platforms (as seen in examples images).

Alpha numeric OFF indicator waypoints offset by 40 and 80m for placement mid-platform. The idea is for these to be placed at the end of the platform followed closely by a path signal. This should result in the OFF indicator displaying when the train can proceed.

Features randomised signal name plates that should differ per model.

Permissive speed indicator textures provided by Mezzie.

Detail on signal aspect animation
3-aspect
Train passes signal then the red animation is triggered resulting in the red aspect being displayed. When a train approaches a signal and the path is clear then green animation triggered. The green animation will show a single yellow aspect for a few seconds then switch to green. If path not clear then signal remains red. When path becomes clear a single yellow aspect is shown.

4-aspect
Same as 3-aspect but when green animation triggered single yellow shown, followed by a double yellow and finally green.

This differs from how Killa's colour light signal mod operates. Killa's CLS show the yellow aspects within the red animation therefore if the path is not clear the train will wait at a single yellow. In reality single yellow means proceed but be prepared to stop. This is why the yellow aspects have been included within the green animation for this mod.

Route indicators and feathers
The game does not provide information that could be used to display the trains route. In the future non-functioning feather assets may br provided that could be placed on a signal.

Hi, I love this mod. I agree with the other comments about the shunt signals though I appreciate there is many limitations in this game in terms of signalling.

Something I'd really like, would be the option to have the premade gantrys set up in the same direction. Eg. Up, Up, Down, Down, rather than just the Up, Down, Up, Down that we have just now. I've been able to do this by manually placing the signal holder thing onto the premade gantry but it then leaves one unused holder facing the wrong way. I tried to manually make the gantrys but it's near impossible to line them up when the track is curved.

Anyway, love the mod and I appreciate the premade gantrys, they make life a whole lot easier.

Great mod. Don't know why I haven't seen it before now! [just sub'd]
Love the speed signs [with the diverging arrows]/warning of speed reduction/TSR/ESR/Banner Repeaters/Gantries/SPT's [Signal Post Telephones] etc.
Are you able to add a small TPWS grids and a normal one for speed/signal placement and a small square EWS magnet for the ESR/TSR/reduction of speed markers? Thanks.

My only criticism is that you do not get position lights [two white lights at 45 degrees] + a green aspect [or even a yellow]. You only get them on a red aspect as it allows you to pass the red and proceed at caution into an occupied section/platform [permissive working] or to do a shunt move behind a permanent red or main aspect to a limit of shunt sign etc.

Found it in assets, sorry I thought they would be in rail/signal on main screen. Also where do i find the signal to put on the gantries please.

@toonshorty please share the crash log and I’ll look into it. Same goes for other crashes ppl experience. Fixed some recent bugs to do with asset selection.
