Description
This mod is aimed at people that have trouble finding steel, by using stones in bulk, you can do the extraction either at a crafting spot or at a Stonecutter table.

This mod was made specifically for me, but I though it can help others as well.
It is very simple, and you can easily change the values in the txt's files even if you have the bare minimum knowledge of coding.

You can extract steel either in bulk of 3 stone chunks or single stone chunk!
3 stones chunks of any type for 30 Steel.
1 stone chunk of any type for 10 steel.
I believe it is fairly balanced!


Now you have more reasons to use Deep Drills other than just stones for floors.
And be careful of your underground friends and place your drills away from your base.


Unfortunately it is not supported by other stone chunks mods!
You won't have bugs or problems with them, they just won't show up as available for steel extraction.
In the future I may update this for some popular stone chunks mods, but for now I think the vanilla are good enough.

You can use the hardcore version, if you didn't like this one, it gives 10 steel for 4 stone chunks of any type, if you don't like getting that much steel that is.

could you change the icon to stone chunks instead of bricks, was confused when i loaded it up without reading lmao

I checked it my self and it indeed, The def recipe was wrong by my side, a quick update was made to fix that problem!

So, there's a weird bug with the recipes. Basically limestone takes 3 chunks for 10 steel.

I've made another version of this mod, after all it is a very simple crafting def mod, but mainly because ALE199-ITA commented about it, I also thought that some people may not like this version. Thus I've made another one, that provides just as ALE199-ITA said, 4 stones of any type into 10 steel with reduced working time to half compared to this one!

I know, but as I said, the working time to make them into steel is what makes for the fair part, your pawns will wasting more time than normal either on stonecutting table or crafting spot, I may release today another version to your likings though.

I think 3 stone chunks for 30 steel is a bit TOO much,the ratio should be like 4:1
4 stone chunks for 10 steel.
