JNR KiHa 37 and 38

Description
Kiha 37 and 38 are DMUs for regional transportation and commuting, built in small numbers in the 1980s at the end of the JNR era. Kiha 37 was developed in 1983 as a DMU for regional transportation that was more efficient than Kiha 40, but only five cars were built: three for the Kururi Line in Chiba and two for the Kakogawa Line in Hyogo. The Kiha 38 was a commuter DMU developed to replace the Kiha 35, 7 cars were built by reusing parts from the Kiha 35, and were put into service on the Hachiko Line in Kanto.

Kiha 37 was designed to be more cost-effective than the Kiha 40, and its engine was JNR's first direct-injection type. The livery is a deeper red than Kiha 40. The No. 0s have toilets and the No. 1000s do not. Only five cars were built, the two cars on the Kakogawa Line in Hyogo were moved to San-in in 1999 and scrapped in 2009, while the three cars on the Kururi Line in Chiba were retired with the introduction of the Kiha E130 Series in 2012. The three cars retired from the Kururi Line have been operating on the Mizushima Rinkai Railway in Okayama since 2014.

Kiha 38 was designed to reduce costs by using scrapped parts of Kiha 35 and parts for bus vehicles. It was the first air-conditioned DMU for regional transportation of JNR, and its doors are of the door pocket type. The No. 0s have toilets, and the No. 1000s do not have toilets. Seven cars were deployed on the Hachiko Line, and after partial electrification of the Hachiko Line in 1996, they were moved to the Kururi Line, where they remained until the introduction of Kiha E130 Series in 2012. After retirement, one car is in static preservation in Chiba, one has been operated by Mizushima Rinkai Railway in Okayama since 2014, and five cars are in operation in Myanmar in Southeast Asia.

Three KiHa 37 cars and one KiHa 38 car (and another Kiha 30) were transferred to Mizushima Rinkai Railway in Okayama, and are operated during weekday rush hours. Two Kiha 37s were painted in Mizushima Rinkai livery, and one each of Kiha 37 and 38 were painted in JNR standard colors (similar to Kiha 20), but the latter two were changed to JNR-era red for Kiha 37 in 2021 and to Hachiko Line revival livery for Kiha 38 in 2022.

Update 5/26/2023: Increased loading speed of Kiha 38 to 6x (original was 3x). Also, improved bogie and window textures.

As far as I know, the majority of narrow gauge (1,067mm) trains in TpF are customized to standard gauge, not only in Japan, but also in Taiwan, Indonesia, New Zealand, Australia (Queensland) and etc...
Unlike many countries in Europe and America, narrow gauge trains in those countries and regions are de facto standard gauge trains.
However, if I can find an idea for simple switching between both physical standard and narrow gauge, I would like to try it with my mod someday.

@maya
Here's an example of a narrow gauge track mod:

Due to the convenience of the TPF's track system, only standard gauge is making for now. In some other games, such as TS Classic, it will be available in narrow gauge.

Can I make metre gauge versions of your Mods?

But as an option, you could place the sound mod somewhere other than steam, giving a download link.

But I hope that you will create a new sound for Japanese trains based on the sounds from the videos (well, at least YouTube). And I know about the inconsistency of the Japanese. I do not know what caused it, but there are individuals who simply do not accept the dialogue. Looks like hara-kiri is waiting)))

I try not to violate any conventions in my sound itself, and I am still very ambitious in my sound creation. However, I have decided that the peculiar way of thinking of Japanese modders is risky. Some of them emotionally delete or privatize their work when a dispute arises, or worse, block it and refuse to even have a dialogue. I know of several Japanese, though not all, who have acted in this manner.
Even if I were to re-release a sound mod, it is unlikely that I would base it on a mod made by Japanese people (including those who understand this system), given the risk that my mod could cause that. I am very sorry.

I don't think you're violating rights by adding your own sounds. This can be applied to the user as it is he who will apply the sound, but this is unprovable, from the point of view of law. As such, there are no intellectual rights to the sound. this is the sound of the composition and it is processed by the program of a particular author. You posted your sound. Whether or not to use it with the model is the decision of the end user. But as an option, create a real sound of Japanese trains. And don't be afraid to record the sounds of the lineups. There are a lot of smart people here, but as it comes to a dispute, their evidence becomes insignificant, unless it is the author of the original music. The sound of the composition does not apply to those, it was not developed by the authors of the mod model. They only used it for their model in their processing (distorted sound)

My existing sound mods are dependent on mods from other authors, and it has become difficult to provide them long term due to difficulties in contacting many of the authors, etc. It is sad that you will no longer be able to hear the sounds, but for safety reasons we have had to remove all sound mods.
My own mods will continue to use custom sounds. I also plan to create a generic mod that replaces the vanilla sound set with a Japanese style and will be one of the means to hear sound again (like Jay_'s Train Sound Mod).

Your mods related to sound have disappeared in my game: passenger, JNR 101,103,115, 205, 213, 209,217,231,221,223, kiha 80, company HIM. 1. Why did you remove them 2. Should I wait for them or should I reconfigure the game?
