Curse of an Orphan

Description
Story: During a hostage rescue, you come into contact with a curse. In order not to slowly slip into darkness, you must solve the mystery of this curse and banish it.

Level: 1 - 12
Maps: 59
Requires DLC: Lost Valley
Mods: none
Playtime:20-25 hours
Recommended game options: Deadlier AI, Reroll Exploration Checks

-World Map and Teleporters
-Peaceful solutions give the same amount of XP than fighting (you only miss the drops)
-You can side with the thief's (evil) or the guards (good) in the city (remember NWN2?:D), but this has only a small influence on the story.
-NPCs with dialogue and storytelling
-Merchants for gear and recipes (You can buy pretty much all recipes, gems and primed weapons)
-Customized monsters, NPCs, and Journals
-Sidequest's
-Recommend a balanced party (Rogue or Lowlife-Character is a must have)
-Arachnaphobia: Contents spiders.

You will get an identify wand at the start.

If you have played Envy of a brother: Casper's Magic Shop and his quest has been implemented into this game. Was a bit lazy there. Everything else is new content.


You are very welcome to point out errors in the game. I'll fix them as fast as possible.

Spoilers:

Favored Enemy: Hard fights are vs dragons and fey. But these opponents are rare. Human's are also a valid choice, due to the large number of encounters.

You can get a very good Greatsword as a quest reward in the middle of the game.

Well, it was a fun campaign while it lasted but I got stuck on the "Lord Everard" mission and couldn't go any further. I was stuck on the "Laboratory: Find out, where you are" section. I went through the whole laboratory, killed everything, picked up everything, read every book, checked every table, and nothing would advance me from that storyline. Climbed back up to the surface from the laboratory and killed the tiger drakes and mutated bear.... and there's nothing left but to go back to the main city and just be stuck with a non-advancing storyline. Pity.

-Progressing in Cortrey Castle is not possible anymore, without taking the chalice needed for the main questline.
-Changed description, where to find the "Bear's Paw"

Thank you Mickeman. I think about Icewind Dale 1 or 2 as soon we get winter maps. I also started a mod who will be pure dungeon crawler, but the limits of the dungeon maker right now turned me of a bit. Don't know if I finish this one.

Good module, the last fight was hard since my charaters have fair AC but not so good defence against spells.

Thank you, mickeman666. Will do that with the next update. Think about changing the quest-start with the chalice too. So, you can't pass without picking up/touching the chalice.

A suggestion: The quest "Weapons in the wrong hands". I have moved the quest to "Bear paw's" state. The questlog states that "Visit the ini in the east of Bamburg. That suggest thats it is inside of the city. A looked for a long time but went out and loooked at the world map. Perhaps you cold change the log statment to something more clearer? "

Just before you climb up the ladder into cortrey castle there is a cursed chalice to pick up. If you have done that, a new questline should open. On the second floor of the bandit hideout, there is a book you should pickup to progress in the questline.

I think I have missed something.
I have just compleated the quest Agnes and the only new location the seems open to me is Bamburgh. WHen I enter it states someting about a curse that I have not previsly heard about. Have I missed something important? I have no active quest right now.
