Dwarven Creatures Pack

Description
Adds 10 Creatures as common domestics, which may cause other civs to use them (as they will have the same list of common domestics)

Lithoworms: Deep dwelling annelids which consume stone and deposit undigestible ores in a wormstone, dwarves have trained them to deposit these stones in nest boxes to be collected and smelted. After smelting enough of these stones, obtains a small amount of each standard metal. Lithoworms have not been seen breeding in captivity, but have lived for centuries.

Trogochs: Mountainous Bovines who delved into the caverns and graze on moss, their massive horns can be shorn on a regular basis and grow their entire lives.

Wooly Boulder Boars: From the tundra and taiga of the north, these pigs have ivory tusks and rummage through soil and stone for grubs and roots. The stone they eat in their live collects in their stomach and chemically forms a Flux stone which can be taken from their remains when butchered. They also are hearty and can be trained for war.

Bearded Moledrakes: Burrowing scaly mammals from the caverns, their horns, intelligence, and tough scales make them excellent guard animals. Able to be trained for both war and hunting, milked, and butchered for a thick scaly hide that makes excellent leather clothing and armor. Their beards are luxurious and soft, but grow slowly, making them a premium yarn.

Spiny Diggers: A strange creature from below, it is quite large and covered in bony quills which can be removed harmlessly. Lays eggs, curiously.

Leatherwing Squirrels: A breed of oversized flying squirrel from the hinterlands that grows its wing-flaps excessively, allowing it to be carefully removed as a tan hide without killing the creature.

Cave Owls: A vermin hunting bird from the caverns, with big yellow eyes. Lays eggs.

Cavern Platypus: Another curiosity of the deep, these mammals both lay eggs and can be milked.

Armored Pincher: A creature with a hard shell and strong grabbers, it's small and voraciously hunts things smaller than itself. With some proper direction they can be used as hunting animals, and their shell is nearly as hard as iron when butchered.

Ironsilk Moths: A cat-sized insect from below ground, which eats moss from stalactites. It protects its eggs with metallic silk, which can be removed in a farmer's workshop and spun into a wonderous thread.

I love the general idea, though I wish these critters were made as something available as additional critter options rather than complete replacements for common domestics. Still, I appreciate the work you spent on this.

Are your elven and human caravans/militaries ever using trogochs? If not, then they have their own domestics. I believe (but I won't say absolutely because it's been awhile) that that was fixed.

Wish this mod gave them specifically to dwarves instead of replacing all common domestics, or maybe just made them spawn as wild animals underground. Did you ever look into the solution the first comment here made to solve this?

Trogochs.

Which of these animals are grazers that NEED to be put into pastures? I need to reduce the number of critters in my pasture, both by butchering, and figuring out which ones don't need to be there.

That's sorta what I figured, since they still appear with humans and such sometimes it seems, good to know.

@CocoBat the vanilla creatures are still in the game, but they are not domestic so the dwarves don't automatically have them. They can still get them from biomes near their civilization in worldgen.

Just for clarity, do any of these replace any vanilla creatures at all? I was under the impression they don't, but when I load an embark save, the vanilla domestics are not available, or are they just not available to dwarves by default?

Thanks, kind of you. I actually sussed it out and feel like a fool, it was a load order problem with the Language Overhaul mod I've recently started using. Mod conflict after all haha.
