Half Life: Source Shine Remover

Description
Requires Half Life: Source Content Mounted, does not 100% cover HL: Resized.

No more bowling ball polish.

Surprised nobody else has done this before, i never really liked the shine Valve added to the HL1 textures and they did break over time in the span of a few years, especially after Steampipe, all this does is make all the fixed envmap materials a pure black single pixel, making the shine not render on all the textures while still keeping vmt tweaking compatibility.

Oh that removes a detail texture that breaks it for some reason, should be compatible I think enough

Which is also a HL1 lighting fix with vmt's, does this fix also do something similar? Just want to make sure nothing I have is redundant. It seems like it's for the ceiling lights.

That converts spheremaps into cubemaps (as spheremaps dont work 100% right in source, the shader is borked) this just removes a baked in cubemap from the map textures which dont work right with lighting.

Then materials that should depend on specular such such as glasses also wouldn't work.

You ain't being smart, this exists to avoid that.

you dont need this addon just type "mat_specular 0" without the quotations in the console and boom shine gone
