CARNAGE Pro is an wrestling promotion set in Japan, operating out of a brand new opera hall in the Kabukicho district of Tokyo called the “Swan Song Opera”. The Opera Hall was specifically constructed for CARNAGE Pro; the idea being that a public performance arts theater could help gentrify the seedy Kabukicho neighborhood. The Swan Song is a luxury venue. It has a capacity of 1500, and is primarily known for its blood red and black colored auditorium.

CARNAGE Pro is an international endeavor. It is privately funded, privately owned, and the president of operations is an American businessman named Max Cherry. CARNAGE is hardly a traditional Japanese wrestling federation, with examples such as the emphasis being put on singles talent rather than stables. The federation supposedly chose Tokyo as its headquarters because of Japan’s rich and vibrant wrestling history. It shares more commonality with PRIDE FC than it does NJPW.
