I made this mod for those of you who wants to shake things up a bit in the campaign map. I know that while I love Rome 2 and I certainly love all the factions there are available, it can sometimes get a bit old and repetitive as your faced with the same challanges everytime you play a faction.

What this mod does is takes almost every faction (some minor factions were removed from the game entirely) and places them in a semi-random position on the campaign map. I've placed all of the playable factions in different areas of the map and put them in unique situations that you would otherwise never find yourself in while playing the vanilla GC, such as Carthage, the Seleucids and the Getae duking it out over control of Britain or playing as Baktria, starting off on Sicily, trying to take control of Italy from the Egyptians or maybe crossing the Meditteranean and invading the Ardiaei-held Carthage.

It's with these scenarios that I hope to breathe new life into the game for many players. If this mod becomes popular, than I will start making a series of these with all new unique situations and challenges for players to face with their favorite faction.

This mod is still working in 2020.
I'm using these Mods right now (same Mod row):
1. This Mod
2. Campaign HD Textures and Lighting
3. HD Cities

But its sadly no "real" shuffle for every new round.. Its fix. Thats boring. :(

the problem i have, is that the religion is the wrong religion, what causes revolts within 3 rounds

No. It just hasn't been updated in a long time so the new patch is probably messing with it. I'm quite backed up on mods to update at the moment but I'll try to get to it

So I have a problem. The factions are all switched up like theyre supposed to be, but the buildings all do different things. for example, Getae's unit roster is now spread over many different buildings, buildings that never were able to recruit any units at all. like the building that originally recruited seige weapons now only recruits one random spear unit throught all 4 teirs of the building. is it supposed to be like this?
