yeah i thought that new update fucked up some how but it seems this mod just kills the game i hope i can save my amazing run but if not do not run this otherwise the game tries calculate everything that happens in your empire on all AI empire as player not as AI so game becomes 1 core intel cpu at that point lol

Yeah the "just don't look at the fight when it spawns" advice doesn't work. I've never had any significant issues with lag even in late game but this straight up froze my game and I tapped out after 15 minutes of no response. I'm going to try and just remove the mod and use an earlier save but otherwise this ruined a solid run. On a less game breaking note, the writing really needs someone to go over it because the first three events were basically gibberish.

its really great looking mod but game becomes unplayable when pirates start spawning

Really interesting crisis. But...the scene where like 100000 pirates spawn in a system in a colosal space battle... damn, pc froze bad. Looks like a skill issue but that was insane.

Really interesting crisis! I feel like it's triggering much earlier than it used to, which makes it even harder. Agree with the pirate spawns. Additionally, it would be great if we could choose the reward from a list of three, five or so options, so we get won't get a reward that doesn't help us at all.

is this replacing the normal midgame crisis or does it occur next to it?

Yeah, definitely needs a cap for pirate spawns, unless you're fine with your game lagging worse than at endgame... by early midgame.

There's still lots of pirate fleets which cause extreme game lag?

Progress stalls if your main system is under siege, but it's not consistent. I had pirates attack my system at the last minute and finished the event. But reloading later to review the end message, it doesn't progress.

I also got the time bomb event twice, but nothing actually happened the 2nd time, no ship no situation.

English text is a bit disjoined, not just the alien dialog either.

All that aside however, it's a pretty good crisis event with interesting mechanics. Hoping it continues to receive fixes and revisions.

The Situation is not progressing after 48% Claims to be Event locked but i dont see any event or situation i could work on to get it going again
