A real paint-portal challenge !!!
4 items
Description
After playing the last levels of Aperture Tag, which were pretty hard, the workshop maps seemed like a piece of cake for me. I wanted something more challenging but good-looking and since I didn't find that kind of a map, I made my own. Not that i'ts very hard, but...you'll like it, I'm sure :) Try out the second and third map too!

Oh wow! That was really innovative. Nice concept. Nice Done. There is one thing: The 2 portals are too close to each other.... was quite frustrating! I also really liked the hidden Companion cube :D 9/10

Hm, don't think I'm offended or anything, 6.5/10 is not bad at all :)

just the tims it takes to get into the other room is a little too long cause be the time i do the gel is moving so fast that when the portal changes it all disappears right there. It took me at least four times to get any gel in the other room, other than that though it wasn't a terrible map other than the fact it was so easy. I'll give those others a try and let you know what i think. :D

also, you can't possibly think that the walking is the main issue of this smallass chamber. have you played Azorae's Entanglement ? It's a huge chamber and there's a lot of walking there, but it still remains one of the most awesome portal 2 custom maps.

and I don't care what the player will do to the companion cube (paint it, fizzle it, leave it or whatever) - it's an easter egg, that really isn't important for the goal of the test."lame"???

oh, and I know that this map is pretty easy, but it sure looks cool IMO. if you want something more challenging try out the second and third map.

you use the "not" gate when you have something that is allready turned on and you want to turn it off. for example: you place a trigger once at the start of the map and connect it to a portal. then you place a button and connect it to the not gate, which you also connect to the portal. that way when you press the button the portal will close.
(that wouldn't happen if you just connect the portal to the trigger AND the button, because that way the game will think that you want the player to go through the trigger and press the button to open the portal, so yeah, "not" gates are important especially when making maps with portals.)
