Description
Use the temple of monstrosity to perform rituals to create werebeasts, vampires and necromancers.

Create werebeast, vampire and necromancy catalyst powder from various gems that are available from embark. Powder supplies one summon. Rarer gems can be made into a stable catalyst which is not used up.

WEREBEAST CATALYST + 10 meat -> WEREBEAST FLESH

Eating werebeast flesh will transform you into werebeast for a short time. You will return to normal without the curse but anyone you bit will obtain the curse.
Werebeast transformations use the world gen werebeast types.

Silver + Sunshine + Whip Wine -> BERSERKER REMEDY

Berserker Remedy will make you immune to becoming crazed when transformed into a werebeast.

WEREBEAST FLESH + Gutter Cruor -> WEREBEAST ELIXIR

Werebeast elixir will transform you into a werebeast permanently

WEREBEAST FLESH + VAMPIRE CATALYST + 2 teeth -> VAMPIRE BLOOD

Vampire blood will turn you into a vampire. This uses an example vampire curse.

WEREBEAST FLESH + NECROMANCER CATALYST + 5 body parts -> NECROPLASM

Necroplasm will turn you into a necromancer . This uses an example necromancer secret separate from the world gen necromancers.

Why did you make werebeast meat a requirement for vamp blood. its a nightmare trying to stop dwaves eating it between making it and turning it into vamp blood

For those interested, Dwarf Therapist will give you the specific sizes of your dwarfs/horrific abominations, then cross-reference that with the animal people size list on the wiki, so you can make armour for them in the right sizes. From experimentation most seem to be in the 100,000-200,000 or 500,000 to 600,000 ranges.

I have a question of my own though, is there anyway to retain the healing-with-lunar cycle thing for those taking the were-beast elixir?

Having issues getting Vamp Blood. The workshop keeps saying I need ivory, despite having it.

Their size is randomly generated so I can't add clothing. I think the most useful armor size is probably Anaconda man unless they are really big. If it's a were-elephant maybe try elephant man clothing etc

Seems equipping armor works a little of the time, as you cant select were creatures when sizing armor. So some weres have some items, others are naked. Was testing with Large (for humans) armors.

You might need to find clothing that is a similar size to them. Try using this to figure it out

It seems werebeasts that are permanent and non-rage dont want to be uncovered, and can wield shields + weapons, still working on the armor, I have a full squad of were beasts :)
