Vanilla Tiles Enhanced

Description
Vanilla Tiles Enhanced for Project Zomboid improves visuals for Vanilla grounds (grass, roads, etc) and vegetation. Some pics above are outdated and don't show the latest features (new 2D grass, better grounds,...).

Latest update: see Changelog

If you see some broken tiles in your game using this mod you can download this file[pixeldrain.com] as a temporary fix (thanks to Mr. Ouija for the upload) and replace the existing one (C:\Users\*your name*\Zomboid\Workshop\Vanilla Tiles Enhanced\Contents\mods\Vanilla Tiles Enhanced\media\texturepacks).

I've planned to update the mod (and hopefully expand it) for the next big PZ update.

Main features:

- New ground tiles for every grass and roads, replacing their old looking pixelized visuals with clearer, nicer ones more in line with other floors and items tiles in the game.

- Other exterior ground tiles (dirt, sand, gravel) have also been improved or remade from scratch.

- 2D Grass is no more a pixelized mess and now looks like grass. Some other vegetation assets have also been cleaned and tweaked.

- *Optional* New sidewalk tiles keeping vanilla colors (mostly) but with brand new pattern and materials (must be activated separately in your mod manager).

- No AI crap used to make this mod. Everything is hand-made with Love!

Technical:

Textures output is in 2048x2048 so you have to set your graphics options accordingly (Double-sized textures MUST be checked / Compressed Textures MUST be desactivated/ max resolution: 2048 is recommended). These files have the same size than vanilla (x2 version) so expect 0 FPS loss if you already play with vanilla hi-res.

If you own a server don't forget to tell your players to set their graphic options accordingly.

FAQ:

- Can I install it mid-game?
It is just textures so yes.

- Can I use it in MP?
Same as above, yes.

- Why do I see so many outlines on roads, etc?
You must desactivate "textures compression" in your graphic options. If your PC can't handle 2048 uncompressed textures I don't recommend to use this mod.

- Is it compatible with my 300+ mods and maps?
If you have no other mods replacing the same files there won't be any conflict with anything. About custom maps, if the ones you are running use vanilla tiles for grounds (which is mostly the case) you're good. In any case always load this mod after any texture/map mod.

I hope you'll enjoy these tiles! If you like it please show your support and rate it!

Hello! I love your mod, it makes the game look so great.

I am here to ask you: In what load order should these mods be: Vanilla Tiles Enhanced, Tile Fixes, Every Texture Optimized, Grass Lands? I am trying to optimize my server and avoid bugs and errors. Thank you!
