Droids should also only build in default styles I believe, not sure if that's changed now that you can choose styles to build with.
About the gender things, I definitely get that, but to have a body type defined in RimWorld, drones and droids kinda need to have a gender. Lots of weird stuff like that happen when trying to bring non-living things into RimWorld. Thanks for asking, though!
That's weird. I've come across hints of Androids changing ideology many times in games. Android as it was built was ideologically free. Once they had an ideology, they would influence the style of architecture that was built and the changes in colonial positions.
Could it be my mod conflict?
As for gender, I just find it strange that robots have gender labels. Also, when used in conjunction with other mods, it sometimes behaves strangely and does not affect the game.
