Advanced Spinning

(Mostly) Vanilla Farming
18 items
Description
I recommend instead using Advanced Agriculture.
Advanced Agriculture combines the effects of most of my previous farming mods, making installation much easier. It also fixes several bugs relating to plants and their processing present in vanilla Dwarf Fortress.

This mod adds recipes to the farmer's workshop that allow for spinning specific plants or wool into thread. It should be compatible with most other mods, though be sure to place this mod after any which change the vanilla civilizations.

This mod uses the WORLDGEN_ENABLED and FORTRESS_MODE_ENABLED reaction tokens to easily integrate with all modded civilizations!

The added plants would have to be spun using the vanilla recipe. If I added those recipes in this mod they would show up in all games, even if the other mod wasn't installed. A mod could be made to add recipes for those plants using this mod as a template, if anyone wants to do that. I do not currently use any mods that add new plants, and making companion mods for all of the mods on the Steam workshop is something I don't believe I could effectively maintain.

How would this interact with mods that add plants? Will it add options for all spinnable plants? will the added plants be not-spinnable?

It should work as long as it's placed below anything that uses [CUT_ENTITY:]. If you have another mod that changes the dwarf's entity, try placing this afterwards.

This doesn't work for me. The new options aren't available. Does it need to be somewhere specific in the load order?
