As for the maps themselves, I gotta say that last stretch in the plant was very tricky. I made it with maybe 3 seconds to spare, and I was kinda cheesing it with a mod that lets you moonjump anywhere. I really enjoyed it even if it's a bit more somber in tone than I usually like. Fine job, miro!
Also thank you for reminding me about Vinny's band. It's been years since I last listened to them.
It's nice to see that you've responded to our comments, and hearing that there's a sequel planned is a pleasant surprise. And looking at Red Vox's catalog of music, I can't help but wonder if the song "Atom Bomb" will be used in the sequel. I probably don't have to explain my thought process there, haha. I look forward to seeing what comes next.
As this was my third level, I am pleased with my modding progress. This level took me over 120 hours and may be updated in the future.
And Mr. Man is right, Hat Kid has, indeed, locked the Ransans in a time loop of death. This is an important first point in the sequel to this mod. I have recently started writing the script for it, although I can make no promise of release date. I want to chill and take it easy so anticipate some much shorter maps in the Miro Modding Microcosm.
Again, thank you everyone!
the last part was just terribly designed for a new player like me. Would have been better without the Time Limit. Sadly i have to Unsubscribe. Seemed like a funny map first , became promissing but the for me unfinishable map ruined it for me. 5/10
This mod was really well put together, and the storytelling definitely has a kind of flair to it that I've come to expect from you.
In the comments of Psychiatry Depot, your previous work, you mentioned the possibility of Hat Kid's backstory involving some sort of nuclear war. I loved getting to see those ideas fully fleshed out here. And that's not even mentioning the actual contents inside of the mods connecting together, something I wouldn't have noticed without a previous comment here pointing it out. You clearly put a lot of thought into these- the vocal tracks caught me off guard when I first heard them, too.
