The perks pack isn't required but nice to have.

Description
Back again, but this time with a fun little weapon. We've got the Crossbow from KF2 this time, and it even shoots actual arrows! I hope you enjoy. Crossbow bolts are a bit experimental by the way!

Features
Original models, animations, materials and sounds.
Inspect animations that sometimes play when idle. (Hold R to activate manually)
Arrows that penetrate through enemies.
A cool red dot scope.

Credits
Tripwire Interactive - Killing Floor 2, models, sounds and animations.
Jaiden - Ripping, porting, material/texture edits, compiling, and coding.
Viper - Cubemaps, reticle texture, and materials method.
Global - Coding the arrow entity.

Okay, cool, thanks! I just had to restart the game and now it's working properly!

This is honestly one of the best crossbow addons I've seen on the workshop. It uses TFA base, it doesn't depend on too many other addons, it has a cool scope, fires actual projectiles, is (semi-)-realistic, looks legitimate, and is otherwise fun to use!

issue is fixed, arrows will now properly penetrate through enemies

It does damage over time..... is that SUPPOSED to happen?

I've observed that the crossbow's arrow can get lodged inside a target (usually ones with higher health such as the Antlion Guard or Hunter) instead of simply penetrating, and it quickly racks up obscene amounts of damage. It's amusing to watch but I don't know if it's an intended effect.
