"Piran II" tanker

Description
Medium sized tanker. Powered by four diesel engines, connected to a single screw.

Experimental version vith some visual changes. WIP!


55,75 m length overall
10,75 m beam

2,75 m empty draft
3,5 m full draft

185.750 l diesel fuel tank

2x 168.000 l liquid storage tank


Cruise speed - 15 knots at 69 throttle and 11 RPS
Top speed - 20 knots at 100 throttle and 13 RPS
- when the ship is empty

As usually the ship is equipped with:

- auto bilge pumps
- auto generator
- back-up battery*
- auto heating
- auto lightning
- two autopilots

Backup battery is meant to start a generators engine and recharge the main battery, not to power main systems. To do so, locate breaker locker on lower deck, disconnect "MAIN BATTERY BREAKER", "Generator to MAIN" and "To alternator from MAIN". Then connect "To alternator from backup". Generator should start automatically and slowly recharge the main battery. (when main battery is recharged it's a good idea to recharge a backup battery too).

I may have to contend with the bilge system. Ship was struck by a missile from that hostile AI encounters and had damage to the engine room, despite full repairs it flooded the entire room anyway. Unsure what's the deal. I had the manual pump switch off. Really well made otherwise, though.

It's not really its primary function, as the ship is intended to carry oil/fuel. However, she is outfited with a crew cabin whitch can accommodate I believe 8 sailors (not sure, as I am not at home and can't confirm that).

sorry if i came off a little rude, but wow this vessel is amazing, definitely my new favorite transport ship, i love the little workshop in the forecastle :steamthumbsup:
