This mod pays homage to the original source, an older video game named Black Omen. The Black Grail Knights have always been one of my favorite weird little off shoot lore blurbs to come out of GW and the Warhammer Fantasy setting


This mod is a group submission to the Modding DenMod Jam, and is a collaborative effort between myself, Barney, and Acephelos. What ya get with this mod is the following:

1. A legendary Hero in the form of the Black Grail Knights. Yes that’s right, Knights as in Plural. This “single” legendary hero is made up of the original 12 man undead Grail Knight unit from Black Omen. Much like my Blood Knight Champions Mod these Monstrously Thicc Bois ™️ use the HU1C skeleton and Anims.
2. A custom skill tree as befitting such powerful entities.
3. New abilities and a unique weapon and shield Ancillary.
4. A new landmark building for Mousillon. This will be how you recruit the Black Grail Knights.
5. A new Bretonian themed Grave Guard unit called the Black Grail Squires. They are anti large and provide a small aoe physical resist buff to surrounding friendly troops. They are only recruitable from the new landmark and are capped to 8 recruitable units.

This will revive additional support and release further down the line. I’m not sure yet when or how soon exactly, but I have plans for some of the following:
1. Additional Bretonia themed Undead.
2. A Legendary Lord - Mallbaude perhaps?
3. A Bretonia themed anti large hero.


1. Werebearus from USSR: Dude is a mad lad, he let me repurpose and reskin some of his black omen assets over to this mod. Thank you for sharing friend.

2. Barney and Acephelos: Both were huge contributors with the DB, Barney helping with art stuff, Acephelos doing all the script work, and both being general sounding boards when stuff was breaking lol.
