Description
I Only Know One Thing, I Want To Kill Chaos.
Adds dismemberment and decapitation to All Base Warriors of Chaos Monster and Cavalry units.


The Seventh part of Dismemberment Overhaul where I try to add as many blood and gore TOTAL DEATH AND DESTRUCTION to many monstrous units in the game!

No messing around this time, it's not a hope or a dream, it's like a hunger. A thirst. I need to kill Warriors of Chaos. That's why I made this mod so YOU can kill Chaos in more fashionable ways than before!

COMPATIBILITY PATCHES/SUBMODS HERE

Requirement
  • Blood for the Blood God DLC.
  • Urge to kill Chaos.
Features
  • ALL Base Warrior of Chaos Monstrous, Chariot, Cavalry units can now be Beheaded, Blown to pieces, Disarmed! You all know what to do, GET TO IT!
  • This mod included Chaos Warhound, Chaos Troll, Chaos Spawn, Manticore, Dragon Ogres + ROR + Shaggoth, Marauder Horseman + Horsemaster, Chaos Knight, Chaos Chariot, Gorebeast Chariots.
  • Purely Graphical have no effect on balance and gameplay in anyway.

Bug / Compatibilities
  • No bug/problems found so far.
  • This mod uses custom limb stump assets and added via unit's VMD file which means it's a reskin of some sort so it's not compatible with reskins mod that affect units above unless there is a patch made for it.
  • Can be use and uninstall at any time during an ongoing campaign.
  • You're FREE to use this mod and every files in it to make a patch for your mod, If you did please notify me so I can add it to the collection.
  • Also have battle_entities files which needed to enable dismemberment for units.


sidenote: chaos spawn are the ugliest thing I have ever worked on. yet.

@SouthSideSaxon I'm guessing the added variant would not have dismember part? It's weird but the units file structure are all over the place with like 50% consistency across all 3 game, The only way to know for sure is for me to look into it, But I'll save that for later.

Will these work with variant reskins? Reskins that dont really change the models very much just adding variety?

Just want to say you're doing an amazing job with these mods! It's been a long time hope of mine that the Blood DLC would eventually add more than just infantry dismemberment, but Blood Pack III kind of dashed that hope aside. So it's hard really just been a joy seeing these mods exist now!

I can't wait to see how the the other factions are handled, and wish you all the best with your work!

@Thrakerzod Nah unfortunately these will not affect all unit that used same animation cause I need to edit each unit individually BUT I can use the same gore effect on the unit that used the same animation without creating a new effect so it'll speed thing up for sure

at least your work on the Chaos Spawn here should carry over to the Beastmen, Khorne, Nurgle, Tzeentch, and Slannesh... does Norsca have Chaos Spawn, if they do it'll help with them too

does this mod affect modded units that share animations and stuff or is it just vanilla only?

@TheHonoredPerson-333 probably some patches for other mods first cause ppl were asking for that but yeah you can get creative with the injuries for sure, I'm just not sure how much it affect performance so I'm thinking about separating it but we'll see.

What are your plans once you're done with all the remaining factions? Perhaps there is an opportunity to refine the injuries by adding mutilated faces or protruding bones from severed limbs?
