Description
This mod adds the abilty to craft a basic 3 panel (small) and 4 panel (big) garage door. The requirements are a handful of tools, and materials and a skill of 6 or more in Metalworking. Yay, more metalworking stuff.


You must have a hammer in hand/invetory/belt to see the build menu.

Build 42: I really thought this one would require a lot of work. Turns out it didn't need anything other than the folder and modinfo updates. Oh, and I had to change the display text to say Metalwelding instead of Metalworking. Other than that, looks like there's no issues and should work perfectly fine (or as fine as it did in B41) for B42. At least for now..

Please note: When a garage door faces south, or east (onscreen south directions) there is no problem. Unfortunately trying to place facing north, or west (onscreen north directions) has issues because the game is whack. One can place one tile on front, and connect it, but for some reason the pre-existing garage floor tiles interfere trying to place them exact. Not a thing I can fix sadly.

@Joniponi - the mod is more meant for replacing garage doors that are already in the vanilla game. So 3 and 4 tile wide is all there is available I'm afraid.

@SS Edmund Fitzgerald - IIRC the locks got broken early in B42, and it was a pain in the ass trying to figure out how to fix them, so I settled for just removing them to get the mod working for the interim.

@Patryk1999 - This mod allows the building of replacement garage doors where applicable. It does not adjust the HP pool, nor make them invulnerable. There is a mod that increases the strength of player build structures, so maybe adding that would help?

@SS Edmund Fitzgerald - I Some I have some, they are placed on the lock, maybe some kind of mod, because without mods for some reason they are not on these gates

Is there anyway to lock the doors? I dont want bandits being able to open them.

Unfortunately, I tried everything I could, reinstalled the game, disabled all mods, unsubscribed and subscribed again, but nothing helped.
