Sonic Movements

Description
Become one with Sonic the Hedgehog by obtaining his abilities and using them to the fullest!

In this mod, you can gain accesories that allow you to zoom, roll, dash, and stomp on the terrain and enemies!

To get these abilities, you need to obtain skill points by defeating enemies, and then turn them in to Omochao in exchange for skill tokens. Omochao can be called by using the new Help Remote item.

And who knows what other "super" things you may be able to get...



Enable Progression mode in the config if you want a more "progression linked" experience!

This mod has minor Calamity Mod support through being able to upgrade ring count past regular capacity post-Moon Lord

@Happiz Good to know your stand on it. On an unrelated note can you make legacy rings an option. I'd like to do more casual play with vaccum ore bag cheese.

I get noticeable lag while using the accessories in certain areas of my world, it might be a conflict with other mods, but I'm not sure.

Fantastic mod. Vanilla Terraria is great, but as a Sonic fan, this mod makes the game so much more enjoyable and feel more "right at home."

Roll, Spin Jump, Spin Dash, and Homing Attack are all staples that are implemented well. I do think Homing Attack range is way too long, but maybe that's necessary since later bosses have crazy mobility and projectile attacks. I don't know because I'm still in pre-hardmode.

I prefer to play without Boost or Lightspeed Dash (which should be renamed to Lightspeed Attack, btw), though. They have tendency to misfire when I don't want them to. If we could turn off specific skills with skill tokens, that would be great.

I also think either of the Sonic acc should negate fall damage by default. It's so awkward to worry about fall damage while being Sonic. Running Shoes giving you wall slide (Shoe Spikes) would be great too, since Sonic can do that in many games.

In any case, thank you for this great mod!

If I had to be honest, I'm unsure if I ever want to add Hyper to the mod just because, to me at least, it would be kinda the same show and dance as getting Super Sonic, that being defeat the bosses and get the emeralds, that and also it would be hard to add attributes to it that would make it stand out enough to not make it feel like a rehash of said previous transformation. Not completely opposed to the idea yet, but that's where I currently stand.

Also I'm so sad, you removed by ability to use Vacuum Ore Bag to hoard my rings, and not lose them.

So I was thinking Hyper Sonic could be what is used for Calamity. Then have S-cal and Exo Mechs be able to dmg you. The First Super emerald could drop from Moon Lord.

@CheeseBandicoot That should be Empress of Light. If it's not dropping then let me know, might be a bug.

which boss drops the pink chaos emerald? I beat all the hardmode bosses but I still haven't got it
