great map
I cannot find plasma gun
7 hours of cleaning, I have gotten Employee of the month on this map
no paperwork done (yet) I will post a 2nd comment when I do all the paperwork til it's a 200% accuracy for both map and bodies.
98% crates and 10% barrels stacked, all signs stacked and 50% of the med waste
Here some more minor stuff for the sake of completeness.
- for some reason it is difficult to grab things from the floor in Food Production
(probably because the planters are at floor level?)
- PID's get reset to their default position after loading a save
(i like to stack them all in a central place before processing)
- the planters have all the same status (Full) although they are empty
(they work perfectly though, unlike other custom maps i played)
That;s it!
Success with your other projects, i will no doubt play (some of) them.
And thanks again for the #$%$%^$@#@$%$ zero gravity room ... aaaaaaaaargh.
:-p
You clearly put a lot of effort into it and it shows. Many, many small things (telephone/audio log/posters/etc) is proof of this.
I liked the fact that there where multiple disposal methods available for each section. The map has a good vibe and it was satisfying to see the cleaned result.
Now the bad stuff :-(
As others have pointed out, the tight corridors are no fun to traverse. Especially with many items extruding (wheels/door panels/etc).
But my biggest gripe must be the zero gravity room. Apart from the fact that "Entering zero gravity/Exiting zero gravity" gets real old, real quick, the biggest sin is the no magnetic boots. It is floating all the time with all kinds of obstacles constantly limiting your maneuverability.
Also: 3 graffiti's are not aligned properly. After throwing a vial it leaves a (invisible) hole in the wall. Very difficult to detect.
- Cafeteria, next to the Mira poster
- Opposite the Slosh machine
- Lower Engine room
Also also also:
- the basement could do without the shelves at the bottom of the stairs
- the top edges of the disposal shafts can clip (and hold) items, especially weeds are prone to get stuck.
- the (weed) shaft is not splatter free
- the zero gravity room floor below is not straight, getting stuck on a floor tile, really?
Personally i loved the HL2 references. Especially the one in the Communications room. It seriously gave me City17 vibes from hearing Combine chatter.
I honestly expected a Combine to appear on the big screen any moment :-)
And a big BIG thanks for improving the shredder. I wish that one could be used in HoH.
All in all an 8 out of 10. Just because of the zero gravity room. I HATED THAT ROOM so much.
PS: I liked the dog pics and that ONE bullet hole :-p
