Trajann's Aspiring Champions of Khorne

Description
Note: This mod is included in my Khorne Compilation. If you are subscribed to that mod then you don't need to be subscribed to this one.

This mod adds two new units plus one RoR to Skarbrand, Valkia, and the undivided Chaos lords.

Creating monogod aspiring champions seems like the hot new thing to do, so I figured I'd give it a shot. Naturally, I gave them a Trajann twist. The base aspiring champions are a ranged/melee hybrid, wielding powerful armour-piercing pistols, as well as axes and shields. These pistols have short range and low ammo, but they can shred apart an infantry formation, though are less effective the lower the entity count of the target unit. They have the gorefeast ability, so they can sustain themselves in melee. They excel at taking out infantry, though they can hold their own against larger foes.

However, if you're looking for something to take down large enemies, the aspiring champions with hellblades may be to your liking. They trade their ranged weapon and shield in order to wield hellblades. Naturally, this gives them the hellblade ability, as well as magical attacks. The are also anti-large, and boy can they shred large targets, cavalry beware these guys. Though with their melee stats, they can still perform well against infantry, though that's not their intended role.

The Hunter Killers are an RoR pistol/axe variant that specialise in being anti-large. In addition to gaining magical ammunition, they have a unique ability that can drastically reduce an enemies resistance to missiles, as well as lowering their speed, making them a perfect target for a barrage of anti-large missiles. They are unlocked at level 27.

Recruitment
For Skarbrand, he recruits them via normal buildings. For the WoC, an additional mod is required in order to enable local recruitment via buildings. Once it's enabled, the units will appear in buildings within Dark Fortresses. If you have no intent on playing the WoC, this mod can be safely disabled. All champion variants benefit from Aspiring Champion tech for WoC, and Chosen tech for Skarbrand.

I had a lot of fun making these guys and finding a fun twist to put on them. As always any feedback or issues you have are greatly appreciated, and I hope you enjoy!

Donations
If you would like to support me, you can donate here: https://ko-fi.com/trajannv . It is by no means required, and even if I never receive a single cent, I will continue to make mods for as long as I have interest. But of course, any donations are greatly appreciated!

Excellent work, you could add a unit with a cannon or ranged artillery, some mechanical unit in the style of 40k

Modders aren't allowed to use anything from other IP's. That being said, at the moment I don't have any interest in making a character like that.

By that logic, Khorne as a faction break lore, because they have skullcannons which are ranged units.
