Description
The LT4 Flemming is a Khertlandian amphibious light tank designed to equip marine regiments. The LT4 is part of the planned Flemming family of fighting vehicles. A IFV variant and APC variant is also planned. The hull is designed with a forward engine and rear ramp door for this reason.

The LT4 is a large vehicle in order to provide sufficient buoyancy to traverse through littoral waters for an amphibious assault. Envisioned as the first phase in an assault where they will secure a beachhead for a second wave of landing crafts to safely unload main battle tanks. The MBTs will then lead the charge deeper in land with the light tanks to pad out the numbers or provide supporting roles.

The Flemming is equipped with a new 125mm gun with a new fast firing autoloader with a new longer high velocity round. The new gun is so capable compared to previous generation of weapon systems, that it actually have slightly higher penetration than even the main battle tanks. Combined with its high rate of fire, the tank is heavily armed.

The protection of the Flemming is primarily aluminum to save weight but also has composite inserts on the front hull. The ECM resistance of the vehicle is the bare minimum and most systems are not as hardened as seen on the Nombril MBTs for example but is better than legacy systems.

In terms of mobility, the Flemming has a fast on road speed for a tracked vehicle at 93 km/h but its off road speed and ability to climb steep grades are comparatively lacking. Its planing hull and use of water jets allow it to have an impressive water speed of 46 km/h

I have thought of those ideas too. I have a paradrop tank planned. I would do infantry but I have been procrastinating it. For the IFV vehicle, yea I have considered it but main issue is how much infantry it can carry without being too big.

Yeah... funny thing not regarding your latest tank. You remember my weird soldiers based on being inspired by your 'Rifleman', the occasional mech I built and the whisky induced madness?

I was a bit upset that my soldiers were too slow (3 m/s) to be any use in the offensive... that is until I realised, that sub-vehicles travel at the speed of the main vehicle. So IFVs and such things are the first to spring to mind... but wait it gets worse!

I was experimenting using balloons (appearance changed with mimics), seperators and an old cargo plane of mine... so yeah. Imagine your 1940s 'Riflemen' being paradropped out of a plane. Works surprisingly well. Just an idea... who knows what insane stuff your are planning as of right now. XD

Thx; removed wireless snooper. I forget they can't connect to card slots. I put add them as a protected backup detection. Theres not enough cards because it only display the amount for connected ones.
Low processing power lowers the tick rate, but even at 50% cameras scan 5 times a second. I normally put some in the hull but due to space constraint, I prioritized armor.
I have vehicles with floor armor but because HE/frag rounds that hit below the tank is fairly rare; I sacrificed it for EMP protection
Surge protectors are costly and one use so I came up with a rubber tetris layout. EMP less than 25k dmg cannot kill the mainframe/LWC regardless of rounds fired.
The alloy is to keep it buoyant while nearly the same HP/AC stat as metal + keep 2 layers of HA afloat. No plan on non-amphib version as I have MBTs. This fulfill the same role as my MBTs but sacrifices some specs to be amphib

This is a very handsome tank. I can tell you spent quite a bit of time with this, especially since the save says it is version 56. Though, I have a few questions and observations. For one, why does it have a Wireless Snooper if it's not connected? (Even if it was connected, it doesn't have enough processing. Was there not enough room for the cards?)

I'd imagine a lot of tough choices revolved around having enough buoyancy. It seems odd to add several Processing cards on the top-front under very thin Alloy plates. It's all Alloy and Rubber. And I noticed that there are no Surge Protectors nor any armor under the Mainframe. Have you considered making a non-amphib variant? I think it'd be interesting to see a version that was more focused on defense, with good armor, esp. if it had a functional missile launcher.

Also, IMO, I didn't care for the look of the deco Flare Stack.

I didn't realize Flemming is a common Danish name. And yea it is amphibious. It is going to be a family of 3-4 vehicles. I have another variant already built, just need to write the lore.

Amphibious ey? Nice.^^

First off, that is a really cool build!

second, the name "Flemming" is just a regular, boring, typical Danish name, which i find kinda funny
