If i could make a couple suggestions for the single player experience: the grabby hands mod is a really nice addition along side advanced welding; it really helps save materials early on by making it easier and more intuitive to weld built blocks together. To a similar end, the harpoon mod works well with the water mod. I don't know how stable these are for multiplayer, however.
I'd also ask if the starter boat could be refitted with bio fuel and electric power rotor, or if possible a directly bio fueled 3x3 propeller. It would make for a more intuitive early game if the starting vessel doesn't need to be gutted when it runs out of gas.
Love your modpack, I have had a lot of fun with it!
