== MOD OVERVIEW ==

This mod adds an array of new Aberrant variants to the Arks!

You can use it alongside Additional Aberrant Dinos- There is no overlap between them (and I will not be adding anything that already has an AAD version)

This mod is compatible with the Extra QoL Items mod's variant converter, so you can turn your vanilla creatures into their EAV Aberrants, and vice versa
This mod also includes a costume, so you can make normal or modded dinos of the correct creature look like the EAV one. All creatures that have buffs in Kraken's Better Dinos should work with the BuffsIncludeSource config in that mod. ExtraAberrantVariants is the mod folder name you need for that config (KBD remaps require support from that mod's end, however you can still use the costume on KBD remaps)
If any dino remapping modders would like inbuilt compatibility, please join my discord and ask- I'm happy to support whatever mods want it!

  • Luminescent (Aberrant) Rock Drake (Radiation Immune, uses a custom colourset)
  • Luminescent (Aberrant) Karkinos/Crab (Radiation Immune, uses a custom colourset)
  • Luminescent Reaper (Has No Untameables mod compatibility. Radiation Immune, uses a custom colourset)
  • Aberrant Onyc (Radiation Immune)
  • Aberrant Bloodstalker (Radiation Immune)
  • Aberrant Compy
  • Aberrant Desmodus (Radiation Immune. Can be disabled with the flier prevention config, see configs discussion page)
  • Aberrant Fjordhawk (Radiation Immune)
  • Aberrant Gasbags
  • Aberrant Icthyornis (CANNOT steal from players, this will become configurable in the future)
  • Aberrant Microraptor (Radiation Immune)
  • Aberrant Rhynio (Radiation Immune. Can be disabled with the flier prevention config, see configs discussion page)
  • Aberrant Thorny Dragon
  • Aberrant Summoner (Has custom summons and a different visual corruption effect)
  • Aberrant Sinomacrops (Radiation Immune. Can be disabled with the flier prevention config, see configs discussion page)
  • Aberrant Vulture

Also remaps the engrams for Gasbags and Thorny Dragon saddle to make them learnable on Aberration. On Aberration only, changes the crafting cost of the Thorny Dragon Saddle to use Blue Gems instead of Clay (upon first adding the mod, the server will need to restart, or, existing structures will need to be replaced for the updated costs to be visible in older structures).

You do not need to own Aberration to use this mod, and it will work on all maps. Spawns are only naturally on those that use the same spawners as Aberration, but you can add them to any maps with spawn INI. When I make an eventual Aberration spawn mod, it will be set up for these creatures too

Yo bro like the claws of the bloodstalker are always yellow is there a way you can make it change colors
like If i use the command to change the colors on it to also affect that area

I will continue to update it with any unique new aberrants I make, yes! (Excluding any that AAD covers). Just had commissions to prioritise so I haven't had time to work on Aberrants recently

Hey eclipse just had a quick question, do the luminescent reapers count as a variant of the base reapers similar to R-reapers, tryna get double preggo here

It seems that the maximum drag weight is still high, I used creature which is 560, and didn't get the full effectiveness
