The Vanilla Factions Expanded Empire Mod's Parade is some fantastic music. I really, really liked it, and it made me happy. There's nothing wrong with it, because it makes me happy.


That said, when I am asked to define "parade music", there is only ONE sound effect that comes to mind. That looping sound effect, echoing perfectly from when I was a very small child, never left my mind and to this day, it defines the word "parade" for me.

Over twenty years ago, sitting in the bonus room above my house's garage, I fired up a decrepit "Windows XP" computer and played "Sim City Three Thousand Unlimited". For hours, I would enjoy setting up my city, and the game sometimes offered me to host a parade.
When I accepted, the sound that you will hear in this Mod is played.

Now, you too can relive my childhood and listen to the simple, catchy sound effects that have permanently meant "parade" to me.
Going forward, maybe you'll define it as such yourself.
