Description
April Fools’!

I made this mod because I wanted to do something that could make people laugh!

Who says MechWarrior has to be a serious game? Nothing says it has to be!

Enjoy this like you might enjoy Halo back in the day: with some headshots, ragdolling, and good ol’ fragging to make it rain smiles. :) (Disclaimer: Will only work for critical explosions here.)

Enemies that suffer critical explosions will now spout confetti, while also playing a joyous sound.

Retains the lighting and many effects of my “Enhanced Critical” mod (found here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2940640271 ), but substitutes the included metal, electrical, and fluid particles for confetti. (Made with my own custom texture and sound file - both for the first time!)

Make sure to load after/above Enhanced Critical and any other mods that affect critical explosions for the effect to take effect. (Should be fine by default, but a/the Load Order Manager (found here: https://www.nexusmods.com/mechwarrior5mercenaries/mods/174 ) will be able to help you if the mod does not work as-is.)

Mod is intended for those who want some levity on the battlefield. :)

This is the best mod in the workshop for MW5, if you dont have it, you are doing it wrong.

@Der Dicke - I use my own mod! The mod is called "Re-balanced and Expanded Weapons", and I made custom visual adjustments to it to make it to my liking.
