Description


AI generation because I'm too lazy to write descriptions

Introducing a new workshop add-on for Garry's Mod that seamlessly connects the game with OpenAI's advanced AI technology. With this add-on, players can now access exciting features such as the chat function (!chat) which allows for seamless communication between players, and the image generation function (!dalle) which enables players to generate stunning visuals in real-time.

  • Auto-mod (Soon)



  1. Add it to your workshop collection
  2. Done



The requirement for using this workshop add-on is to have an OpenAI API key, you can get one from this link:

https://platform.openai.com/account/api-keys

To enter the OpenAI API key for the add-on, You must navigate to the "data" directory within Garry's Mod and locate the folder named "openai". Within this folder, you can find the file "openai_config.txt".

Within the txt file you have to place the API Key in the OpenAI option.

Any questions or errors found can be discussed in the comments

You can setup a local GPT based and use on it. Im using that instead of chatGPT api

if i understand right,i just create secret api key for FREE,after, i dowland this mod,then just put my api key into openai_config.txt,and then use ai in gmod for free yeah?

bro, you just described the future, I'm already working on another artificial intelligence for the game, if everything goes well maybe I'll make a copilot for the game

vicentefelipechile, it does make me wonder if this will get autopilot at some point, and if that's the case, I would love it to do Garry's Mod machinima animations via the Stand Tool, HAT/SMH, and the Ragdoll Mover, even if it would only do basic ones. Would that be awesome? LOL.
