Should the purple line point to the waypoint?
I have not faced such a problem.
Please make it the least structure and check if it happen.
I think you should divide the problem much smaller factor.

= add a circuit breaker just for the physics sensor
= if you reload a game with flickering
= turn off circuit breaker for physics sensor
= turn off rest of power grid (you did install a power shut off didnt you?)
= drain residual power (electric motors good for this, even switches now store minor amounts of power)
= once depowered main circuit on
= physics circuit back on
Things now okay

Again, I think this is a base game issue but this is doable workaround until they fix it... or a move to a non physics sensor version of the MC.
I love the idea of the secondary monitors. Added one to the Captain's cabin so he can have ship data while taking a break.
