Description
This mod allows specifying a temperature limit for delivering objects to buildings.

Tired of your base getting cooked because duplicants decided to store tonnes of hot materials without you noticing?

Objects will be delivered to various buildings such as storage lockers only if the object's temperature is within the set temperature range, if configured. Note that this applies only to delivery, it does not apply to objects already stored, even if they change their temperature outside of the limit.

As an optional feature, disabled by default, it is possible to also limit temperature of materials delivered for construction of buildings. This is usually not very useful, as the game normally limits temperature of newly constructed buildings between 15 °C (unless building from ice) and 45 °C. It is primarily meant to be used with the Build Hot Buildings mod, it may also be useful in cases such as when you don't want new buildings to warm up your cold area. The feature can be enabled in mod settings and initial values for temperature limits can be set there, or you can modify the limits while placing a building blueprint.

The mod is written to be efficient, and so the additional cost of these checks should (hopefully) be insignificant. The most expensive part, checking temperature for status items such as "Building lacks resources", may be optionally disabled.

UI hints:
  • Entering one value will automatically enter the minimum/maximum value in the other field.
  • Deleting one field (simply hit the Del key) will delete also the other field, thus disabling the limit.

I managed to compile a working DLL. My new colony has been running for 178 cycles now. Don't use the game's "rebuild building" function - destroy the building first. This part of the code still eludes me.

Just fix it and whenever the og requests it, remove the fixed mod :) many "modfix" work this way :)
this mod is a so good QoL that should be in the base game

Works fine for me, but sadly only applies to base game storage devices. Any modded storage devices will not have the temperature limit added to them.
