Description
Hey there, welcome to the U.S. based PMC, Grey Ghost Company.

Today, we'll be introducing another modified mod. Based on BIBI's Advanced Trajectory - which was then modified by Okulux - and now modified by Reits, this mod has deleted part of the lua that controlled whether or not bullets could ignore vehicles (which they originally couldn't). Please go to their mods if you're uninterested in this function. Also, make sure to disable them if you want to use this version. This is standalone.

So, what this mod does is effectively treat cars as concealment rather than cover (not that cars ever even acted as concealment fml).

Are you telling me that I have line of sight to the threat but my bullet doesn't? And I can't become a threat to them if I'm not out from behind a vehicle? I can't shoot from over/under/through the vehicle? And they can still see me? What kind of unbalanced BS is this?

Well then, all of these issues can be solved with this mod. Enjoy.

As of April 26, bullets are also invisible for performance's sake.

Multiplayer Compatibility:

No, I'm not sure what would happen on MP tbh. It probably would just go through the vehicle without hitting the player inside if you're doing pvp so...

Someone else can do it...:

There theoretically should be a way to hit the player via lua given how players are treated in scripts at least, but I have no such ability. I'll leave it to someone else to do it if they can. There also theoretically should be a way to make it so that engine blocks can't be ignored, but again, skill issue on my part. I just wanted to be able to do what we can do in vanilla's system... As for hitting people on multiple floors, I get the feeling that Zomboid mechanics won't allow it, although it would be nice to have. I recommend just using the vanilla aim system if you want the ability to hit threats on 2F from 1F

@Elalfa That really shouldn't be the case. All this mod does is turn bullets into actual projectiles. If you have any errors, please go to your console.txt (found in the Zomboid cache folder) and post it into the bug report discussion. If there are no errors, not sure what to say. It's working for everyone else just fine.

@MyNameis_Mati Until recently there were no issues (I had both arsenal vanilla and 2.0 on, which you shouldn't do), but I did have to turn kitsune off because of that incompatibility when I was testing.

Brita can be used with kitsune's and also with VFE, so yes.
Also my mod makes it so one can use with the ammo you want so...yes.
Feels great having a community to help each other right?

@MyNameis_Mati Very nice. I was hesitant as if Kitsune is used with Brita, Brita's guns don't run out of ammo (weird incompatibility and it has its own crossbows as well), but good to know,

@MyNameis_Mati Apparently it does have code for that (from ATYGunfighterFix), but I make no guarantees. Please test it out for yourself.
