Impact Weaponry

Description


Bring a new world of pain to your heretical foes with this new destructive set of weapons, Impact Weapons!

All these new weapons create explosions upon impact, making them extremely useful against highly armored enemies like mechanoids, tough base defenses, and raiders!

The weapons all have incredible sounds, created by the great Bonible/Con, thank you!

Additional suggested mods:
VFE - Pirates Required for the bolter.

The mod also includes a new, secret weapon that can only be found through quests and trading, there is also a Persona variant if you have the Royalty DLC enabled.



Every weapon is acquired through the "Impact-tip munitions" research that costs 3400 research points.

It is advised to only equip experienced pawns with these, as the friendly fire can be quite deadly to both structures and pawns.

They cost more than charge weapons, and take longer to make.

A bullet from one of these can shred an entire arm off.



Q: Is this mod CE compatible?
A: I've heard the mod has been patched for CE recently! But I've received MANY complaints, so, don't try it probably.

Q: I encountered an error!
A: Send me the logs so I can identify the issue.

Q: Why does this mod NOT require Athena Framework?
A: I'm personally not a fan of adding requirements to mods, hence I opted for making the Slugger an optional feature. Same for the Bolter.

Q: Can I suggest additions or new features?
A: Absolutely, but keep in mind the theme of the mod.

Another idea : a thump mortar shell made to destroy structures but not people, and an Impact shell that explodes like a normal shell but sends impact projectiles around the blast zone.

Is there an easy way to get a notification when the remake gets posted? The Kofi seems to only occasionally get posts and I'd rather not miss when the remake goes live.
