Description
"I am what remains of the Song of Salvation. I am His will rendered in silent light, sent forth to guide a billion vessels home. I am what remains of the Emperor now that His body is dead and His mind is dying. It is a death that may take an eternity, but it will come. And then I will fall silent with His final thought. [...] I stare into eternity and witness the dance of daemons. I sing forever into the endless night, adding my melody to the Great Game. I am Imperious, the Avatar of the Astronomican." Imperious, Avatar of the Astronomican – Warhammer 40K

This mod allows for the taming of space weather, and the usage of their effects to your benefit, at a cost of course.

It adds a new tier 2 technology, space weather mitigation, once this is researched you will have the option to construct the Stormbreaker Lighthouse on your starbases if they are orbiting a high energy star such as a Neutron Star,or Pulsar
or are located within a Turbulent Nebula. It will cancel out the effects of these phenomena, allowing your ships to maintain top speed and/or full shields within them, more importantly this effect will not be extended to enemy vessels, allowing for a significant tactical advantage. The Stormbreaker lighthouse does require rare crystals to build and maintain its complex components as well as a significant quantity of energy to function.

Lighthouse building will also negate the effects of Zroni Storms spawned by the Zroni Stormcaster or the effects of VLUUR, it can also be built in systems with these phenomena, however it will provide little function once they dissipate or move on, unless they return of course.

This mod has full support for Real Space 3.8 and Hypothetical Stars, the Stormbreaker Lighthouse can be built in orbit of binary Pulsars, Neutron stars, Magnetars, Antimatter stars, Strange stars and White holes to mitigate their effects.

Compatibility
This mod does not overwrite any vanilla files and should be compatible with most other mods, it likely will not work with any modded space weather effects, however I may be open to changing that if it is brought to my attention. if you have any feedback or questions feel free to leave them below.

Special thanks to everyone at the Stellaris Modding Den [discord.gg] for all their help.

@Fatetaker Depends what you mean by compatible, I doubt either will break if you install both but it won't negate the effects of the storms, I still haven't gotten around to making it interact with vanilla dynamic space weather yet, it just negates the effects of stars and nebulae.

@Sidewinder_Fang
is this compatible with Hydra's more cosmic storms?

Would love to be able to add his mod to my popular modlist

@Goot tested and I'm not seeing any issues, it's probably a different mod, you could try opening up the command console and putting in [debugtooltip] (minus the brackets). Then you can mouse over the event and it should show you an event ID, good modders tend to tag their mod IDs with things like the mod name or initials to make them unique and easily identifiable, so it might help narrow down whatevers causing the issue

@Goot Huh, that's concerning, will look into that.

@Nanao-kun Been kind of busy unfortunately and haven't had time to polish up some of the mods to the standard I'd like, I'll add it to the list but no promises.

Any plans to update this for realspace 3.9?

Space storms now only occur if you have the cosmic storms DLC and they're new kinds with different modifiers, if the classic space storm happened it's either through a mod or its a bug.

Couldn't help but notice that you've removed the vanilla space storm stuff in one of the changelogs, because they're no longer a thing? The issue is, I've seen one occur. Once, mind you, but it definitely did.

@knodel Fixed, must have made a mistake when I was copy and pasting some things.
