ULTRAKILL: V1 Voicelines (Nick)

Description
Replaces Nick's voice with SAM-generated voicelines.

The voicepack contains over 2900 unique voicelines. Intended for use in conjunction with the V1 > Nick addon.

I highly recommend downloading the custom subtitle pack as well. You'll need GCFscape[nemstools.github.io] to extract the file. For the love of god read the instruction in the description/readme.txt when you go there

DISCLAIMER
Working with almost 3000 files isn't easy, and as such there are bound to be some tiny issues, such as wrong voicelines playing during certain events. I also tried my best to make the voicelines as audible as possible, but SAM is very limiting, and therefore some lines may simply be a bit too quiet.

My only wish with this mod is that some of the unused voicelines were properly covered (for custom campaigns and such). Other than that this is absolutely wonderful

There's no way around that unfortunately from what I remember. The best you can do is sort the voicelines by sample rate (should be easy to do in windows) and then put them into different folders based on that. Then when you're done, just slap everything together back into one folder.
If you wanna talk about things further, you can set up a discussion on this mod's page using the Discussion tab that's on top of the mod's image section

I feel like the main thing that will be a pain in the ass will be the constant audio rate switching.

no worries, take your time. it's a big project

I will say this: I'm probably only gonna work on it when I actually feel like working on it. Which may not even be in this year tbh, since my mental health is basically at it's limit at the moment.

try playing with perceived loudness instead of regular loudness – that's my best guess.
audacity has a setting for that called Loudness Normalization

Jesus christ, I forgot how loud this game was.
Did a few lines already but due to how loud this game is, you can barely hear them. (And yes I already did increase their volume)

I'll think of something.
Anyway, love this mod, thanks for making it.

you can go off how he's portrayed in ULTRAKILL and also take inspiration from what i did with V1. unfortunately i can't help more than that since it's been a good while since ive interacted with either l4d2 or ULTRAKILL
