Description
Have you ever been fighting an EPIC siege battle, fighting against OVERWHELMING ODDS but holding your ground in a great city chokepoint, only to have one or two AI units slip around, grab the two key capture points, and then suddenly force you to give up your position to try to rush and recapture the magical locations or lose?

If so, was it fun?

If you answered "NO" then this is your mod. Say goodbye to suddenly losing your siege due to victory point tickets.

This mod:
(1) REMOVES the victory tickets. If your enemy captures the two key buildings in your settlement, you'll lose the bonuses and suffer the morale hit, BUT you will no longer have a fast countdown until you lose the battle for no reason.
(2) KEEPS the need to hold at least ONE point in your city. It no longer has to be a key building, but you must hold at least a single supply point or lose - so you can't just run around outside the city and avoid a loss. I kept this because it represents a total takeover of your city, and it would make sense if you lose every point of impact in your city that you'd lose the city.

The mod IS save game compatible. And it ONLY affects the victory tickets, so it is compatible with everything, including other siege mods. Just make sure this mod loads with higher priority to overwrite the other siege mod's possible use of ticket tables.

Like all GOW mods, this mod has been cleaned to minimize potential conflicts with other mods. This means my mod will not accidentally overwrite someone else's mod changes in an unrelated area. My mod will only conflict with mods that change the exact same things I do.

Should be. I prefer the new siege mechanics so I'm not keeping an active eye on it anymore, but unless they make some crazy changes it should work indefinitely. This mod is made with a very small change in a table they never update.

Note as of 4.0: I am not currently playing TWW3 as of Update 4.0. I briefly looked over the new files and don't see that any of my mods have new conflicts that would need fixed. If you are using my mod, and something is broken or incomplete (that was working or complete before 4.0) please post your issue and I will do a more targeted troubleshooting to identify any issues and fix them. Thank you.

That sounds like a mod conflict. I checked and ogre camp battles don't have victory point tickets at all (see screenshot below of my game with no mods except mine; it looks the same when I restarted the game with no mods at all). If you have victory point tickets in your battle, it was probably put there by another mod, which is overwriting mine. Try putting my mod at the top of your CA load order (#1). That might fix it.

Is it possible that this mod doesn't work when defending ogre camps? I just lost because of victory points with the mod enabled.

Ca you add to this mod to change seige attrition to warhammer 2 level nnow? Sick of no seiges because of the attrition issue
