Should be. I prefer the new siege mechanics so I'm not keeping an active eye on it anymore, but unless they make some crazy changes it should work indefinitely. This mod is made with a very small change in a table they never update.

Note as of 4.0: I am not currently playing TWW3 as of Update 4.0. I briefly looked over the new files and don't see that any of my mods have new conflicts that would need fixed. If you are using my mod, and something is broken or incomplete (that was working or complete before 4.0) please post your issue and I will do a more targeted troubleshooting to identify any issues and fix them. Thank you.

That sounds like a mod conflict. I checked and ogre camp battles don't have victory point tickets at all (see screenshot below of my game with no mods except mine; it looks the same when I restarted the game with no mods at all). If you have victory point tickets in your battle, it was probably put there by another mod, which is overwriting mine. Try putting my mod at the top of your CA load order (#1). That might fix it.

Is it possible that this mod doesn't work when defending ogre camps? I just lost because of victory points with the mod enabled.

By Sigmar, just the mod I need. Had a great defense lined up as Tzeentch in an incredible choke point to spam Searing Doom and one of the tech bombardment spells. Close Defeat despite losing less than 30 troops versus the couple hundred the AI already lost. I don't know why CA loves Victory Points and tickets so much. It's way too gamey.

I also use this, along side Myrault's Hinder-Gast "siege AI and mechanics overhaul" mod which is great! I tweaked it also my self to reduce the cost of defenses and towers because fuck it, fuck the AI, I'd rather have fun watching them suffer :D.

@GOW LIKE A BOSS Nice thanks for the post. I didn't see those ones before(I usually try to check mod makers profiles for other mods but completely forgot to for yours) and i'll give those a spin because sieges are just so meh atm and needs all the help they can get lol.

Personally that's not a mod I'd use so I probably won't take the time to remake it. But if someone else does, my mod here won't conflict with it and it could definitely be used together.
I do have a few other siege mods for anyone interested in less tower-building mini-games.

@Mickiedn my thoughts exactly! Bonus points if someone implements a setting to toggle which factions can and cant rout for those wanting skaven to still cowardly run away in a lore friendly way. We can hope.

As for the tower and barricade idea, I like it. I have seen mods that allow you to only build tower/walls before the battle starts and give extra supplies to compensate for this but I do agree.

I imagine most players want a realistic siege battle not a glorified tower defense battle >.>

Would indeed make sieges more realistic.
If you are gonna be defeated by orcs or skaven, you are not gonna get collonized. You are going to die anyway.


I also think that what would it make more realistic is that you build all towers and barricades before the battle. Not during battles where they pop up.

Nice I like the idea. There was a mod for tww2 that didn't seemed to get ported over that I think would compliment or work well with this mod.

This is going to pair really well with all the garrison and siege mods. Epic sieges that won't suddenly end when the fighting's good. Thanks for the mod!
