Comprehensive scenario for Survival and a larger mission. New content and resources are used from "Resource Rocks", which means new ways of working in addition to the existing way. New detector to find these rocks and new mining drill to drill off chunks. Chunks are processed in the grinder. Ore is processed in refinery.
You will need your vehicles to complete the mission.


In short:
-find the truck (east of your starting location)
-find 2 supply pods
-build a printer and a base
-recharge your suit with LMB on any solar panel or MMRTG
-find pile of debris, collect and grind
-construct detector and locate cobalt rocks
-construct the mining tool and mine rocks
-construct detector MK2 and locate more minable rocks
-find crater with Iron-rocks, collect and grind
-find resource rocks, collect ice, refine to water
-find the rover at 3-2 and analyze the sample found on it
-sample several specific coordinates
-final sample brings down the MDV

Search for Extra Terrestrial Life:

You are sent to Cydonia Mensae to find proof of extra-terrestial life. But first you must survive and build a base before you starve. The cargo truck is east of your lander. 2 supply pods should be in the vicinity.

This is a long scenario. You start with materials to build a small printer, but from here you need to mine and refine everything. Prepare for an early phase low on everything. Low on Fuel, Power and Resources.

Once you pass the survival barrier, have your base going and potatoes flourishing, then your next quest starts. A rover stranded at the SW-corner of the map (coords x3-y2) has a rock sample that needs to be analyzed. This sample will lead to a new coordinate from which you must sample rock. This will repeat itself until you find that final rock that will bring the MDV down and you are allowed to go home.

To complete the mission you will have to travel much. Recommend to use the PHEV buggy.
Satellites have observed white rocks which might contain ice. Once you have got your base going you would want to travel south and northeast until your scanners automatically pick up the coordinates. The Ice rocks will give you some ice which can be melted into water. The water gives extra hydrogen for fuel. The rocks have a limited amount of ice. Can you find them?

NECESSARY MOD : SETL _CM_MOD (slotkeys, gps sector, suit power, sample missions)

Recommeded addon : PHEV-buggy, Shielded-Vehicles.

Suit Power:
-suit -> has many hours of power but will drain itself slowly
-cold -> will drain your power in 1-2 hours dependent on temperature
-helmet light -> will drain your power in 1 hour - switching on/off drains extra.
-detector -> will drain your power in 1 hour of use
-mining tool -> will drain your power in 17 minutes of drilling.

When your suit power is depleted you will not die, but the following will stop working:
-helmet HUD
-helmet light
-detector
-mining tool

Update 6.5.2023:
New POI's added that can be used for resource scavenging / mining. In addition to mining rock/soil/atmos, you can now collect grindable objects. You will discover a grinder that can be used to processed objects into resources. Did you notice the pile of debris near the lander? Can you get it to your grinder?
North of the grinder location is a crater with iron rocks. These rocks can be processed in the grinder for IronOxide.
You need the cargo truck to move the objects. Too bad you are low on fuel.

Update 31.5.2023
Added detector and minable rocks. Construct a detector to find small cobalt rocks. Grind and refine. Use cobalt to build a mining tool. Use Mining tool to drill the big cobalt rock. Use cobalt to create detector MK2. Use detector MK2 to locate more minable rocks.

Suit Power: draining by several types of use. Can be recharged at solar panel or RTG by holding LMB.
