Smoothed stone is worthless

Description
There are many things that confuse me about base Rimworld. Most of them I can find mods to fix them. Other times I fix them with my own mod. This is the second one, just in case anyone wasn't sure.

Why does smoothed stone have a value attached to it? I get that balance wise, it's to make it more likely that raid strengths will match your strength, but I've never looked at a cave with smooth walls and thought "whoever lives here is clearly doing very well financially". I usually think "if I go in there I might accidentally brain myself on the first slope. Probably sooner", or "if I get attacked by a swarm of radioactive bats when I go in there, do I become batman or manbat?".

This mod reduces the values of smoothed stones from 18+ to 0. Is it balanced? Not really. It ends up nerfing raids in the long term if you prefer smoothed stone over constructed walls. Does it make more sense to me? Definitely.

Want to make some of your smooth walls have value still? The Smooth Walls mod will allow you to replace the natural worthless ones with artificial worthy ones.

Smoothing surfaces of course adds value, ever heard of smoothed cement for example? otherwise people wouldn't do it (talking about real life) so I have to disagree with the view of this mod.

My best guess is that something under the wall is causing issues for some reason, or something in Rimworld that I'm not aware of is messing with values outside of what I can mess with. The smoothed stone patches do appear to at least partially be taking effect based on the fact that none of them are 7+, which would be vanilla values.

Hi! I'm using this + Floors are Worthless + WealthHere, and the latter shows that in a room, smoothed walls are worthless, but outside of that or around the edges, they still seemingly have some value?

Or maybe I'm just understanding wealth wrong. Are you able to clarify?

The smoothed floors are a bit weird code-wise, but I think this patch does also impact them

Yay now I wont have my tribal colony get fistfucked first spring because i smothed some fucking floors. Seriously the game threw 7 guy with guns and armor against my 4 colonists with 2 guns and some shit tier melee weapons because of this

I was actually looking for a Batman mod and found this because of your Batman joke. Glad I did, it didn't even occur to me, but like... 'oh yes, we've smoothed the stone, now we're rich',
