Description
Your character eats automaticaly.


Automatic Food Selection
  • Food high priority is given to perishable food compared to permanent food.
  • Food low priority is given to the ratio weight / hunger (to optimise the inventory space). As a consequence, putting food in a bag will reduce its priority.
  • Food identified as dangerous or rotten is never eaten.
  • Alcohol is never eaten (to avoid the sleeping tablet incident).
  • Spice is never eaten (to avoid eating herbs that have other uses).
  • Food that makes unhappy is never eaten (to avoid eating automatic happyness dumping).
  • Poisonous food not identified as poisonous may be eaten !
  • Food is looked for in player inventory and bags.
  • This mod does not allow to eat from nearby containers, but you can couple it with AutoLoot.


FAQ
  • Your character tries to eat when the first negative moodle appears.
  • Can be deactivated / activated at will from the character sheet bowl button, see picture.
  • Eating time is the same as vanilla.
  • Player time speed selection is not reset after auto eat and auto open actions (same as vanilla auto drink).
  • If no directly usable food is found, it tries to open canned food (that satisfies the Automatic Food Selection).
  • Eating conditions are the same as vanilla* (you can walk and drive, that's pretty much all).
  • Opening conditions are the same as vanilla* (you have to stop moving).
  • Aiming cancels opening and eating actions started automatically.
  • When eating totally an item would waste food, eats partially instead.
  • Can be added / removed to an existing save.
  • Supposed to work on multiplayer as well as solo (MP untested).

It works in MP! My only gripe with it is that AutoEat is on by default, it can be annoying when you're trying to save your food in a 10YL game haha. If you added a sandbox option to make it so AutoEat is off by default, that would be great

Looking to enable eating until full to bursting. Would this be done by simply changing
while hungerChange + hunger < 1.0-md.HungerMax do
to
while hungerChange + hunger > 0.0-md.HungerMax do?

Let me add to my last comment. I know there's a way to toggle it, and I've used it. More talking about when I've forgotten so I can get a chance to disable it and not waste an ingredient or eat something that's going to kill me.

Needs a cool down. Or an idle timer. If I cancel the timedaction intentionally, I don't want my character to immediately try to stuff that milk I need for a recipe into his face.
