Compatibility update for the Ways of War DLC / Tiger Patch!
No actual changes were made.
Reduced scale of Morale changes, due to feedback!
Changes from Previous Version:
*Enemy Hero Death Morale Gain: 33 -> 16
*Enemy Hero Death Morale Gain Falloff per hex: 3 -> 1
*Enemy Hero Death Morale Minimum Gain: 15 -> 10
*Ally Hero Death Morale Penalty: -33 -> -16
*Ally Hero Death Morale Penalty Falloff per hex: -3 -> -1
*Ally Hero Death Morale Minimum Penalty: -15 -> -10
That amount of morale change was definitely unintentional, my apologies.
OfHreyHairWaifu It turns out that in the game's programming, Ring of the Vicious Killer doesn't actually double the morale penalties when killing an enemy. It actually gives a flat -12 morale, with a falloff of -2 per hex, down to -6 minimum. So in combination with this mod, killing a enemy hero will give a -40 morale penalty, instead of the "intended" -60, to adjacent enemies. But yeah, that is still a huge amount, and probably not the best design.
Lord Vectra Gotcha! I haven't played around with Morale Tanking that much myself, so I appreciate your feedback as a Morale Tank player!
I think I will reduce the morale gain / penalties down to 10 additional, compared to regular units. That way, there will still be a significant impact when a hero is killed, albeit not as much as before.
